I believe we have bought 10 of these monitors the past year and they have been great. But this time, one of them has a vertical line going through it. I told our employee to call, but didn't until the 15 days was past. Now we are trying to deal with Dell.

The Dell - S2419NX 24" IPS LED FHD Monitor - Black/Silver is the newest iteration of the Dell monitor line. It provides a large viewing surface while offering minimal bezel. Quality color and definition while providing a good user experience for basic usage. While there are many decent features for the basic user, this monitor lacks some of the basic industry standards and is not great for a "gamer." Vesa mounting is basically the industry standard for monitors any more, but this monitor surprising lacks this feature. The lack of any flair such as a real metal stand or LED lighting in the monitor seems unusual for this price-point. PROS - Dell Quality - Very thin Bezel - Good visual display (Color and Definition) - Large viewable surface area - Easy controls and adjustments - User Inputs are sufficient for most users CONS - Very plastic look and feel - No Vesa Mount availability - High gloss = Fingerprints and Dust - Low refresh rate of 60hz Overall it is a decent monitor for basic users seeking a large display and good visuals with minimal bezel; I would recommend it for this type of user. Not recommended for a power user or gamer seeking high performance.

This monitor is great for general purpose. The refresh rate is 5ms, suitable for most apps, including some games. Other hard core gamers might want to get something with a 4k resolution and 1 or 2ms refresh rate. The colors are pretty rich and vibrant. I like to do a lot of photo editing, and the color output seems pretty natural, without any adjustments. The other thing to keep note of, is that this monitor comes with only 2 inputs, and both are HDMI, which is fine for most modern computers, but if your computer only has a traditional VGA output, you will have to look for other options. However, because this monitor does have 2 HDMI outputs, it can be used as a second tv for a smaller room with a spare cablebox/streaming device, or a video game screen for non 4K consoles.

Initially didn't communicate with my computer and took some work to get it to do so. Picture was fine but purchased another branch for $60 less that looked just as good and didn't have setup issues.

We purchased 2 of these 2018. No warranty listed anywhere on Best Buy . On Dells web sight no definitive warranty listed . So buy the service tag check you have 15 months ! My office monitor out about a year later and it was replaced by dell. Now my Sons Monitor has the same vertical lines ! and OUT OF WARRANTY 22 months ! Just purchased a third a few months ago fro my client's Video System . Had several friends purchase this upon my recommendation .

The Dell - S2419NX 24" IPS LED FHD Monitor is a solid choice for those on a budget. It touts a 5ms refresh rate ( I would assume a G-to-G timing ), is Energy Star rated and comes in markedly below a 20 watt rating, has a slim bezel and has clean design lines. I'm especially happy about the Energy Star rating as this monitor replaces an older Dell 23" model which scores a higher power consumption than this 24". Straight out of the box, the picture was phenomenal, with good depth of color and solid dynamic range. I have it paired with a Dell XPS 8910 which came with a GTX 750i graphics card and I didn't need to readjust any of the picture settings. Games, photos and videos all look great for a monitor at this price point. I was also keen to see how much light bleed would emit from the edges and I am happy to report that in addition to the absence of light bleed, the overall corner-to-corner picture uniformity is outstanding. My only gripes about this model is the lack of vertical height adjustment and more importantly, the omission of built-in speakers. There's a model just above this one - not offered by Best Buy - that has full adjust-ability and it isn't much more expensive. I knew what I was opting for with this monitor choice so I won't count these two nits against my rating although built-in speakers should really have been part of the deal. I can recommend this to gamer types and casual users on a budget alike. Tremendous value for Dell quality.

When it comes to monitors this one has all the features you need to start working. It was super easy to assemble, has an excellent IPS panel, almost no bezel and 2 HDMI inputs. The only area I see it lacking is the stand. The only adjustment available is the ability to tilt it slightly.

I bought two of these monitors, and they worked fantastic until this week. One of them just up and quit with the display just going out on me. I'm not sure if its a lemon or this is a common occurrence.

My only problem with this monitor is it is so shiny I can't see it when the sun shines in my office. My fault I guess for not checking the specs when I ordered it. It's fine other than that.
