After a month and a half, verticle color lines appeared. The screen went off saying "no signal" and wouldn't work again at the night before my essay deadline. What a wonderful product...

great while it lasted, died at only 14months old, dell won't replace due to 12month warranty

Why can't everything be this easy? Out of the box and set up and working in less than 5 minutes. Everything was very intuitive. The quality, fit, and finish is top shelf. After I powered it up I went to calibrate the picture, and it was point on with no adjustments needed. Everything looks nice and crisp, the response time is nice and fast, and the picture looks great even at sharp angles that would make other monitors fade out. Exceeded my expectations, I highly recommend!

This replaced a Samsung smart TV. It keeps dropping the channel in the middle of a show requiring me to key it back in--repeatedly! It requires multiple scans to get all of the channels and then, occasionally, just drops a channel or two requiring rescanning. All of our other TV's work great while this one is a royal pain. Sorry I bought it.

Had this monitor hardly for less than 4 months, and it stopped working. Contacted the technical support via chat and phone, made me wait for an hour with no resolution at all. The support specialist wanted to send a part, expecting me to install it. Ridiculous .. Technical support is not based in US.

Exchanged it for a Samsung, poor quality overall...

I had this set up and working for around 72 when I developed a line down the left side of the screen. I will be returning and getting another one.. Hopefully it will be better

Stop working after a year. Just keeps blinking on and off. Had to buy a new one.

This Dell IPS monitor has it's benefits and disadvantages. It is an IPS monitor and it does suffer from accurate color reproduction at times and the screen doesn't get as bright as my Alienware monitor. It is full HD though and gaming on my PS4 is better than I expected while gaming on my PC is just good. This monitor has very minimal bezels which is a great advantage compared to its competition in this price range. One disadvantage is the lack of ports. One HDMI port with no display ports are turn offs for some people but I guess you can just use that one HDMI port. I would really recommend this monitor to anyone needing a second screen for gaming or productivity tasks. I've been using it mostly for audio mixing as my second screen and although there is a big difference in color from my first monitor it still works for me. There is also a glare that bugs if you have the lights on but can easily be fixed by turning up the brightness. Overall it's a good monitor that can be used for gaming, Netflix, and productivity and it gets the job done for me.

The picture on this monitor is amazing! The light is bright and the colors are very vibrant! Easy to put together and connect to computer.I'm thrilled to have this monitor!

Not a great monitor. The lowest brightness of this monitor is still very bright.

Dell - S2419NX 24" IPS LED FHD Monitor There are 2 HDMI inputs and 1 HDMI cable is included with the monitor. This LED with antiglare monitor has a 1920x1080 resolution. The contrast ratio is 8,000,00:1 which provides deep blacks and bright whites. The refresh rate is 76Hz and response time is 5ms. The result is a clear crisp picture. It's set up to have a great video and gaming performance. At 24" I would consider the monitor to be mid-sized. It's large enough to not feel like you're straining to see a full picture or small details but it's not so massive it will take over your wall or desk. The base is roughly 8" x 9.5" so it's not big and bulky. You cannot adjust the height but it does tilt some. The stand and monitor have a nice sleek and modern look to them. My husband is using this Dell monitor in the office as an additional monitor for his videos, displays, stock trading, etc. and works great for his needs. It's not a premium product but neither is the price. It's affordable which makes it very accessible to have a decent display.

This monitor is honestly great, especially considering the price! Really thin bezels and works great for gaming and work.

I have been using the Dell S2419 24" display for about a week now and my review is short and simple. This 1080p IPS monitor delivers good color in a stylish package. The thin bezels give it an ultra-modern feel and really make it feel more upmarket than it is. The IPS panel has great off-axis color reproduction, but suffers from IPS glow. Blacks quickly deteriorate off-axis, but that is pretty common for any IPS display. That said it is a bit worse on this monitor than others I have seen so keep that in mind if you are sensitive to that. Overall panel uniformity is good, backlight bleed is non-existent which is always a big plus, and there were no dead or lit pixels. Keep in mind that is based on the monitor I received and your mileage may vary as units will vary some. Additionally, motion blur is minimal which is a good if you plan to game with it. My single biggest complaint regarding the monitor is the stand. It only has tilt adjustment which can be a bit of a pain unless your placement is just right. Would have like to have seen height adjustment as well. The lack of extensive adjustment only exacerbates the IPS glow issue. Also, the stand is very wobbly. Even the slightest bump and the display will jostle around. Unfortunately, it does not have VESA mount capability so you are pretty much stuck with the stand it comes with. Overall, this is a pretty average IPS monitor. If you find it on sale and are in the market for a 24" 1080p display than this is a solid choice, but at list price I would evaluate the alternatives before making the jump.

I telecommute and use a Dell business laptop with docking station. When my aging Lenovo monitor gave out unexpectedly, I went to BestBuy and saw this model on display. The size and design of the stand was perfect for my work station and exactly the right height. It couldn't have been easier to assemble and worked the minute I connected it. The screen display is easy on the eyes as well. I am actually happy the other monitor died because this one is much better. Hope this review helps someone else because I read most of the others before buying!

There are control buttons under the lower right screen’s corner that gives the ability to change the Brightness/Contrast, Sources Input, Color, Display, Menu, Personalize and Others for specialized functions. The Dell - S2419NX 24" IPS LED FHD Monitor - Black/Silver has several preset modes for different viewing options consisting of standard, comfort view, Movie, Game, Warm, Cool and Custom Color which change the intensity of the colors and the brightness of the screen. The colors are rich and the pixels are compressed to bring about a sharp and clear viewing experience. Viewing from any angle is noticeable and without obstruction. It is the best monitor that I ever owned.

I really like this monitor for the price and quality. I would have liked to see it have a vesa mount compatible stand but otherwise it does not disappoint. The screen was crisp and clear for non-gaming for sure. The refresh and lighting may not be the best for gaming but at this price range it easily leads the pack. I was surprised it did not have a displayport connection but at least it does have two HDMI ports. The bezel is on par with higher end monitors. The stand is very stable but again not removable for normal use. If you are not planning to mount your monitor and don't consider yourself a pure gamer then this is the monitor for you.
