Not a 4K, but this monitor has excellent resolution compared to anything that I have used on a regular basis. For many reasons it is a great choice for my work and personal needs. Extremely easy to setup, it is lightweight and has a slim design which makes it fits perfectly and beautifully on my desk. At 81 pixels per inch and 1920 x 1080 resolution, I have ample contrast to do what I need to do on this LED Backlit monitor, and plenty of space to do it on. The monitor is very responsive and the colors crisp and bright without the glare of some of my smaller and/or older models. So far, it has been much easier on my eyes than most computer screens. The thin bezel of approximately ¼” makes it nearly frameless. This design feature also seems to enhance the clarity of the display making it an excellent choice for doing architectural cad drawings, photoshop, interior sketches, word documents or spreadsheets. My drawings are both -- sharp and vivid. The OSD menu is simple and straight forward and allows for control and adjustment of brightness, color, contrast, input source, personalization, and screen positioning. The controls are located on the underneath right side of the screen next to the power button. The base allows tilting at angles of -5 to +21 degrees which helps when working long hours on 2-D construction plans and other detailed drawings. On the rear panel and in addition to the power cord, the monitor incorporates 2 HDMI inputs and an audio line output where I connected my speaker system. The monitor’s audio was difficult for me to access and I had to download and install updated drivers. However, after doing so and re-plugging my sound system into the audio line out, the sound worked great! (There is also a Kensington security slot, but it is not something that I use.) I use this monitor with a desktop tower that has HDMI, but I can see that if one tried to use it with a laptop or desktop that didn’t have this input connection, then an adaptor would be necessary. Anti-glare, Plug and Play, FHD –this is a beautiful monitor that is of a sound design and quality construction. For the price it is a very well designed and solidly constructed computer peripheral. Even design thought has been given to simple cord management in the stem of the base of this product. When comparing this monitor and its price to others, the first thing that comes to my mind is that it is an excellent choice for a budget minded person because it is of such high quality for such a great price. It is an excellent choice anyway because it is a great monitor. It would have been nice to have built in speakers in the monitor to eliminate even more clutter from my desk, but there is a model almost identical to this one that does have speakers on the right and left underside of the screen and I believe that the model number for that item is Dell S2719H. This monitor is Energy Star Certified and has a 1-year warranty. It is a solid monitor and a beautiful design, with a screen that exhibits contrast, clarity and precision that results in an awesome picture that obviously also works well with the graphics card that I have chosen for my workstation. This monitor exceeds my expectations and that of my work needs. If I decide that I need two monitors at my CAD station, I will purchase another.

It is a good size screen,with nice color and defiition.

The Dell S2719NX is a nice monitor but one thing I don't like about it is it doesn't sit level in the stand. The left side of the monitor is about 1/2" lower than the right. Very noticeable on my desk because there is a hutch with a shelf that is level right above the monitor.

This monitor is a great size, we love how it looks.

I had another Dell monitor which was identical to this one in almost every way. One thing I like better is that this monitor has a push button for on/off instead of a touch sensitive switch. One thing I like less is that the black color is not as black as my older monitor.

Does everything I wanted it for. For work and play. For work needed multiple screens to keep from having to switch browsers. For play to have multiple gamer accounts. I love the fact that I can it all in one area

Ordered a pair of Bose desk sized speakers for the computer when I discovered that we had no sound included. They were economical and I was able to hook them up on my own with the good directions!

Bought this without much research & it had exceeded my expectations! Works with both a PC laptop and Macbook. The screen could be sharper, but you get what you pay for. I’d recommend it!
