Nice that the newer model has multiple HDMI inputs so that I don't have to use an HDMI to DisplayPort converter.

Nope, it's 2018 and DELL decides only high tier monitors should use a VESA mount. Great marketing scheme. Buy expensive monitors if you want to mount them. Literally EVERYONE else is making VESA mounts for their monitor. DELL blows.

great second monitor

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was super happy with this monitor for a year and 5 months starting in March 2019 -- great color and clarity, lightweight, thin, frameless, reasonably priced. My favorite monitor. Everything I wanted and I used it every day. When the pandemic came and I started working at home everyday, I used it more, everyday. Then, the electrical connection on the back of the monitor, where the electric cord plugs in to the monitor, started to get wobbly inside the monitor, and without much warning, just one work morning, the monitor would no longer receive electricity from the cord. We tried everything. Gently moving the cord -- the monitor would light up briefly, but as soon as we tried to tape the cord in the right place, the monitor would stop receiving electricity. My spouse is a 30+ computer person and knows what he's doing, but there was no way to fix it unless we try to take it apart. So this beautiful monitor will go to the junk yard recycling area. Naturally, the warranty is only for 1 year unless you buy the extra coverage. Very disappointed.
