Great monitor! Clean picture and fast response time at QHD. Priced higher than similar spec competitors, but the great volume of positive reviews sold on paying extra.

Dell 165 Hz computer screens are outstanding with their graphics. You can see the difference and they provide all of the hardware units.

Was a noticeable upgrade coming from a Samsung CFG73 144hz QLED. The unit I got seems to be good so far, I would recommend it

Upon opening the box I found MAJOR aesthetic defects as shown in the pictures. These pictures don't do it justice but when touched the plastic seemed as if it would fall off..and this is a brand new monitor. The top right was separating and you could see back into the monitor. Also, the back panel was bowed out as if it were to fall off at any moment. I've been a loyal Dell customer for my office and gaming needs, however, now I am not sure I can continue this with the terrible build quality.

It’s great monitor for gaming, the design and the lighting on the back, both cool, but not good for me only watch movies or work or just connect to my switch play some games. I will return it and buy a 4K one

Regarding the Dell S2721DGF I’m having issue with the whites being more on the warm side. Kinda pink or yellow tint to it. I’ve tried Rtings icc profile, which isn’t recommended, but figured I’d try it but didn’t help. Read multiple Reddit post with people having the same issue and even tried their settings which isn’t helping. Tried the Bulit in Screen Diagnosis Dell recommends. Going through all the colors up to the white looks fine. Once back to main settings the white looks off. Not sure what’s going on. I’m using a RTX 3060ti. The monitor on the Left is a Acer 1080p 165hz 23.5” IPS monitor which Best Buy still sales. Great monitor. Just figured I would get a 1440p monitor hoping it would look 10x better but unfortunately it doesn’t. Going to return the Dell and maybe get another one. Not sure yet. Anyway look at the picture I provided to see my issue.

Loving the monitor. Great resolution. No camera is a disappointment but would not keep me from purchasing the monitor.

Its a fabulous monitor, but my problem is that I received it without a power cable. I was lucky enough to have a cable I could use as a substitute.

A nice monitor that required a good deal of color tweaking to get it right. Also the settings for supposedly better colors seems to make it way harder to get the screen right. My main issue? The monitor broke literally 2 days after the warranty expired. I tried some resets and such to see if I could fix it, updated drivers and whatnot, but now it has a red line right down the full screen. I have purchased and returned two monitors before this. I just want a monitor. I am not even that picky. I would keep it with a couple dead pixels. I don't know why it is so hard to just get a fully functional monitor.

Product is great overall, but 1 month after purchased I noticed that there's a white dot on the screen, no idea what exactly it is. As long as the monitor is turned on, the white dot is there, it's not from the light of my room or software bugs etc. If someone could solve this problem that would be helpful.

I’ve used many Dell monitors over the years with the latest being Dell - S2415H 23.8" IPS LED HD Monitor. This was a good monitor which I used primarily as an extended screen and sometimes to play games. Honestly I’ve never thought about getting a monitor specifically for gaming and now that I’ve tried the Dell 27 Gaming Monitor: S2721DGF I realised I’ve been missing out. This monitor totally blew me out of the water and I am beyond impressed. It comes in a simple box with no frills inside, just adequate protection and the necessary pieces which were the monitor, the base, the stand, the power cable, an hdmi cable, a DP cable, a usb cable and a simple sheet detailing how to set up the monitor. The available connectivity ports are 2 HDMI 2.0, 1 DP 1.4, 1 line-out jack, 1 Headphone-out jack, along with 2 usb ports directly under the screen. Setting this up was a breeze, if you get stuck anywhere at all the instruction sheet is available. Once everything is in place you can power it up by pressing the power button found under the screen on the right hand side. On a side note the device is beautiful from the base all the way up to the screen (which is anti-flare). Its virtually bezel-less and it has nice designed vents on the back that add to its bold look but also serves the purpose of dispersing heat, not to mention the calm blew glow from the lights it has in the back. I also greatly appreciate the design of the base and stand. They feel very sturdy and I have no doubt in their longevity. I also like how it allows you to easily set your desired height as well as your tilt with no need for an extra tool. When it comes to performance, this is where this monitor shines. By default when the monitor is connected to anything say a pc or console , it looks wonderful, but when you are ready to fine tune it you can find, on the back of the monitor on the right side, a joystick with a few buttons below that allow you to navigate the on screen menus to help you do this. Not only can you control the display modes like Cinema, Standard and comfort It also has games modes optimized for your game type. It even has open slots in the display mode for you to personalize however you see fit. No matter what I threw at it, it performed outstandingly. I attached it to my Gaming Pc( which offered the highest optimization), Ps4, Switch and even my Samsung tablet to test with NFS heat, COD WW2 and BO3, Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Cod Mobile respectively. Of course on all of them the graphics looked stunning coming through the screen, no matter the angle, but it’s the speed and refresh rate that got to me. It made everything so smooth and I started seeing that there was much more detail there than I thought before. The responsiveness also stood out, especially with the racing and FPS games there was no tearing, ghosting or stuttering. I am still in disbelief even though I have been using it for the last few days. This is an outstanding monitor and you will not be disappointed if you pick it up.
