This Dell - S2725QC 27" IPS LED 4K UHD 120Hz FreeSync Monitor is a great product. Being home based for work and having my equipment supplied by my company I forgot how much I miss a really great monitor. Dell put some thought into both the product and packaging.
I have mine connected via HDMI to my hub and the 4K resolution is stunning and clear.
How about Dell and Premium Panel Exchange, this allows a free panel replacement during the Dell Limited Hardware Warranty period even if only one bright pixel is found. Premium Panel Exchange is not a standard or upsell Support service, this alone almost makes it worth it.
Aside from that these connections:
- Optional wireless dongle
- You can also add a wireless dongle that will interface with your connected computer
- Via the USB-C cable or equivalent, it will send your display signal to your display as well as provide power to your USB-C powered laptop, providing up to 65 watts at the same time.
- There are three other available USB ports two USB Type-A 5 Gbps downstream ports, one with charging capabilities and one additional USB Type-C port with 5 Gbps downstream capabilities, along with power delivery of up to 15 watts.
- There are also two HDMI ports, which all meet HDMI specifications for HDMI 2.1.
And the best.. Two of the USB ports are a pop-out forward-facing in a hidden hub.
Did I mention the actual color and clarity of the display... Side by side with another "stock" monitor, there is no comparison, the Dell wins hands down.

I’ve been using the Dell S2725QC 27" for video and photo editing, and I’m really happy with it. The 4K resolution is sharp and clear, and colors look accurate and vibrant, which makes my editing much easier. The HDR is surprisingly good too and adds nice depth and brightness to the image without looking overdone.
It’s one of the few affordable monitors I could find that offers 4K at 120Hz, and the smoothness is noticeable whether I’m working on videos or browsing. The build quality feels solid, and the USB-C connection helps keep my workspace tidy. For the price, it’s definitely worth it.
Just make sure that your warranty is valid in case you ever need support. I’d recommend this monitor to anyone who needs a good screen for creative projects.

Display is more than enough for most people with its feature set. This is only gonna be for a certain demographic of people who need particular checkboxes addressed.
For my Mac mini, out of the box the calibration wasn’t really to my liking, up until I downloaded the necessary software to ensure color accuracy. The display has ComfortView enabled which will always give the screen a weirdish orange hue no matter what you do. The included USB-C cable is short, but that could always be replaced with something better. The boomy built in speakers, 120Hz refresh, and drop down USB-C & A ports are an exceptional value and tremendously make this unit worth it. This was a better product than a Samsung 4K monitor that I had prior especially with the IPS viewing angles. You would think a Samsung display would be much better. Anyway, it’s a decent monitor.

I bought this to attach to my Mac M4 Mini which is used mostly for coding. I originally had the Mac connected to a non-4K Samsung 27in monitor with an HDMI cable. The text on the Samsung was fuzzy so I checked around and found that 4K monitors work better with Macs.
Went down to my local BestBuy after checking out their website and the Dell was in stock and on sale. Spent no more than 15 minutes at the store and brought the monitor home. I connected it to the Mac the following day and it was problematic when using the HDMI cable that was working on the Samsung.
When using the HDMI cable the Dell monitor would come up for 3 to 6 minutes and then shutdown for 1 to 4 minutes consistently. I did not have another HDMI cable in the house so I used the Dell included USB-C cable and the problem was solved. Text is fully formed and sharp. YouTube videos are better and sharper than on the Samsung. Colors are fantastic.
I have a set of external speakers that I was going to use with the Mac but the Dell's built-in speakers have good enough quality for my needs.
All in all the Dell monitor is great for my uses. So good in fact that I'm probably going to buy another one for my wife's Christmas present this year.
Now I won't recommend this to a friend because most if not all of my friends are notorious "But you said it was great" types. When they come over to the house and get a chance to see the Dell monitor and use it I believe that they will get one if they need it. About half of them bought Macs after using mine.

I am very happy with this purchase. I needed a monitor for my Mac Studio, and the Apple Studio Display was too expensive. I wanted something that was more than 60Hz. I did a lot of research and settled on this model. For me, the perfect resolution is 3008x1692 @120Hz. It's clear, crisp, and easy on the eyes. I highly recommend it.

So far so good. Using high speed USB-C cable to Mac mini pro. Excellent color reproduction, no flicker, super smooth with the 120Hz refresh rate. I use it for photo and video editing and its definitely a step up from my 2019 LG IPS panel.

Got this Geek Squad Certified Refurbished and am very happy with it. I had been wanting to make the jump to 4K monitors for quite some time so when I saw the deal, I pounced on it.
It's a real game changer - especially if you are coming from years of using a 1080p monitor. If you use your computer monitors primarily for work - like I do - MS Suite, web browsers, etc. all look crisp and clear and easier on the eyes. No more screen door effect. If you have this monitor sitting next to a 1080p monitor it's night and day.
I use a two monitor set up and actually ended up getting rid of my other FHD monitor as well and buying the S2725S version of this one (A little cheaper. Exact same panel / display - does not have the upstream USB-C feature and no built in USB hub.)
The upstream USB-C feature is something I never thought I would have needed but it's actually very cool. Basically, charges your computer and carries a DisplayPort 1.4 signal at the same time over the included USB-C cable.
It also has a little USB hub - one USB-A and one USB-C - that pops down from the inside of the monitor and allows you to connect a mouse and keyboard, thumb drives, external drives, etc.
While there's no HDR you still get 99% of the RGB range so the colors are all really vivid and accurate. It's more than adequate for the majority of video editing projects. PRO TIP - if you are using this with a MacBook, Mac mini or Mac Studio - go into display settings and change the color profile from the preset Dell one to "Display P3." The monitor will then match Apple's built in color profiles across their computers.
Last but not least - it's not a bad little gaming monitor either. I connect my Rog Ally up to it via the DisplayPort cable and it can push a true 4K @ 120hz. It has Free Sync and VRR as well.
TLDR: For the price I'm not sure you can do much better in terms of a 4K monitor. Once you start talking OLED and HDR the price increases significantly. If you are using this primarily for work - with a little gaming on the side - like I am then it's pretty spot on.

The monitor seems to be good for my purposes, which is mainly office work and some video editing. I am using with a Mac Studio desktop and the USB-C plug-and-play was convenient. Set up was easy as well, as I just went into Settings and changed the display resolution to match my other monitor. The housing does feel a bit cheap, but it helps make the monitor fairly light and easy to move, which I do sometimes have to do due to my work set up being on a dining room table.

Great Value 4K 120Hz Monitor

This monitor is a great value for someone looking for a 4K 120 Hz screen. The 27" 4K display was crisp and clear when navigating through UI, reading text, watching content, etc. The speakers on the monitor were also a nice surprise as they are much better quality than a lot of other monitor speakers. It was nice being able to connect my laptop to the monitor through a single cable (USB-C) for display and power. The USB hub on the monitor is also convenient as it allows one to plug in accessories such as external mice, keyboard, or storage devices. You can download the Dell Display Manager application which stops you from having to fiddle with the OSD.
The only thing that I did not like about this monitor was the color temperature. It was too warm in comparison to my MacBook display. There is a preset for a "cool" picture, but that picture is too cool when compared to MacBook display. There is no way to fine tune color temperature other than through custom RGB values which is a bit annoying.

Dell did such a great job with this monitor. Attaching the monitor to the stand was incredibly easy and intuitive and the monitor itself awesome. In my opinion 120Hz is a must have and the sound is better than I was expecting. Thanks BestBuy for offering another great deal.

I bought this based on excellent you tube reviews by people who specialize in monitors, and ones that work well with MacBooks. It was easy to set up with my M4 MacBook, 14" - just connect the provided USB C cable. I really liked the price point for what you get. 4K and 120 HZ is good for the member sale price of $289 over Labor Day. The other really great thing is it has enough USB A ports built in to connect other things.

Nice companion to Mac M4 mini. Image quality (side-by-side w/same image) similar to my '19 Retina 4k iMac. Built-in 'hub' connections quite useful. Taking off 1 star for overall build quality (just adequate), and archaic Dell control app. Overall a solid value.
