There is a ton of lag with the device. I spent a lot of time trying to keep the memory cleaned. Not something I'd recommend for the money.

I wanted a tablet to take with my when I travel so it wouldn't be so cumbersome like a laptop. It does work for that. But at times it responds so slowly when going from one page to the next it frustrates me. Also sometimes after just a few seconds, the screen goes to black. That's fine, I understand it is saving power, but trying to get it back sometimes takes awhile.

The screen is large, bright and high res and is sensitive to touch, slide, etc. I use it for reading US publications as I live in Mexico. It is perfect for the new apps from NYTimes, etc. The battery lasts all day with extensive use. I am also learning to play Canasta with it and play some solitaire too, so it gets a good workout daily.

This is the worst piece of technology I have ever purchased and I have been involved with tech for 35 years. I am angry with myself for not reading the reviews on this one. Really bad. The unit does not have enough memory to do the most simple tasks and locks up with almost every app. It has a very nice display but that's it. If you're in the market for a tablet take a little less resolution on the screen but get at least 2GB of RAM. I'll be trashing this unit and buying something else.

I bought this in order to do some light web browsing as well as play a few games such as Clash of Clans. It performs pretty well with only the occasional performance stutter or wifi connection glitch. Compared to the other tablets in its price range I would recommend this one because of its relatively smooth performance and high resolution, easy to see screen.

Couldn't beleive it was a Dell at this low price

For just under $100 and it's Dell I am very happy. The ONLY downside to this tablet is that it tends to run very slow and sometimes freeze. I've learned that if you go into Settings you will find a lot of apps running.... not sure why. If you stop these apps this tablet flies and is as good as any tablet that is priced twice as high.

Easy to use, easy to carry and great graphics. Light weight and small enough, the graphics are great and the connectivity is quick and no issues to report. I would recommend this to anybody looking for a tablet for a child or an adult who doesn't need all the crazy bells and whistles.

Insufficient memory cripples tablet

It is a terrible shame that an otherwise good tablet has been crippled by Dell by using most of the available 1gb of memory. Most times, 800Mb is used by the operating system leaving insufficient for many apps. This means that many apps will judder and a almost come to a halt or crash. A 2Gb model would be OK but NOT 1Gb. Go to the Dell chat groups and you will see the problems that people are having. My thanks go to Best buy for letting me return it for a refund under their return policy.

Looking for an affordable android tablet for your children or parents? This should fit the bill nicely. Not a premium device, but not junk either. Middle of the road tablet that serves the purpose of web browsing, e-mail and light gaming. Nice display and decent battery life.

Dispite the mixed reviews. The tablet does all i ask of it. And well. Prenty of expandable space. Really nice graphics. I could do without all the preloaded apps but not a huge obstacle to overcome. I give it a thumbs up for a middle of the road tablet.

I got this a week ago and in still getting messages about updates. Overall it seems to run slow. Only thing is I don't know if it's because of the updates or because if the hardware.

I have had this tablet for a month now and it is great for daily internet browsing. There is enough storage for my music, games, and books. The two selling for points for me besides only paying $100 was an Andriod based OS and bluetooth.
