    DO NOT BUY this computer. The wireless adapter doesn't work; just look at all of the Dell forums associated with this issue. My brand new computer won't connect to my home network and Dell has provided no assistance for the issue. The Support Desk app on my computer crashes before it will even open. I bought this computer today and it's unusable. The battery drops by 10% every 30min without being connected to internet and brightness being at medium level. I'll be returning this device tomorrow.

      a) Touch and hold or right-click the network icon (Available Networks or Network Icon, located in the lower right-hand corner).

    Perfect all around laptop for those who want something that can handle everything very well. CPU is very fast. GPU allows for some high quality gaming. RAM and Storage are both upgradeable. Display is very color accurate and gets very bright. Long-lasting battery as well.

    Best looking and best built Windows laptop I've ever used, but the laptop is far to thin to push out the full performance of its components. I experience multiple slow downs and frame-rate drops when gaming. If the laptop was only a little thicker or had a better cooling system, it would be the perfect Windows laptop. However, if you are only using this laptop to do light tasks/gaming, its the perfect laptop.

Dell has released an Intel Power Management Utility to help with the cooling system issues that you may be experiencing on your computer. For this package to take effect, the system power plan must be set to Balanced under the Additional Power Settings. Also, the Power Mode option that is displayed when you click the battery icon, should be set to Better Performance. This package only takes effect on AC power and not on battery power.     Great laptop, i upgraded ram easily and upgraded to windows 11. Very fast, windows 11 ready laptop. Battery life could be a tad better but not bad for the price. I don’t really care for the usb-c charger as replacements for 130W usb-c aren’t as easy to find.

    Doesn't have enough ports to handle a basic set up with mouse, monitor and keyboards. You have to buy a separate dock and half the time that doesn't work properly. Really unfortunate that laptop makers are taking out ports and making basic functionality harder and harder.

    It's a great laptop, hands down. The only downside is the Windows 10 malfunction to open Chrome. Every other application opens just fine. I know that isn't the laptop itself but that was a bummer to have to deal with. Also, the fans turn on sometimes when I'm not doing any heavy tasks but it's just for a split second. I don't know if that should be happening or not. The battery life also isn't the best. I get about an average of 6 hours straight when I'm making video calls, but when I'm not making any video calls on zoom or google meets, I get up to 8hours.

    So disappointing. I returned a lower grade dell that was overheating. I went ahead and bought this computer thinking that It would handle my work flow. Well it did! unfortunately it took a few tries to find one that actually worked properly. I believe I returned the computer 2 times!!! Ugh so frustrating. One model had a bad pixel and the other model had a bad track pad. Once I finally got one that worked Its been treating me well.

We are happy to hear you are now enjoying your XPS 9510. For future reference, we have provided the steps to run a diagnostic test on the display, along with a link to the full article.

      Below I have provided the steps to run a diagnostic test on the display and the full article link, which has more options if they are needed. We also suggest making sure all video drivers are up to date on your PC. I have given you a link to the Drivers and Downloads page for your computer below.

      Method 1
      1. Power off the Dell Laptop PC.
      2. Disconnect any peripherals that are connected to the PC, and connect the AC Adapter (charger) to the PC.
      3. Make sure that the LCD screen is clean (no dust particles are on the surface of the screen).
      4. Press and hold D key and power on the PC to enter LCD built-in self test (BIST) mode.
      Continue to hold the D key until you see the entire screen change colors.
      5. The screen changes colors to black, white, red, green, and blue.
      6. Carefully inspect the screen for abnormalities.
      7. Press Esc key to exit.

    The Dell XPS is a smooth functioning laptop that works perfectly for my needs. The 16GB RAM is powerful enough to allow you to multitask efficiently. The graphics quality is wonderful and makes working with the Adobe Suite and absolute pleasure. Lastly, the device is sleek and light to carry around. In terms of negatives, the device comes with only C-type USB ports, hence connecting USB A-type pen drives and hard disks is a bit of a hassle. Overall it is a great laptop for designers and I would definitely recommend it to my peers.

    Beautiful, fast, well built… BUT- computer is very heavy, surprised when in my bag how heavy it felt. Also this only has a 16:10 version of a 1080p screen, you can see the pixels and small text is blurry, for this price it should be a higher resolution screen. Wanted to love the laptop but ended up returning it and getting a 15” Surface Laptop, could not be happier with the decision.

    Great laptop -switched over from an HP Spectre x360 and couldnt be happier. The resolution of the screen isnt as high, but the brightness and anti reflectivity of the screen make up for it.

    I always heard that Dell XPS was the best Windows MacBook competitor. I wasn't sure what I wanted, MacBook Pro 13 or a Dell XPS, so I bought both to test. I really don't have a preference for OS so that didn't matter. I was surprised at how the build quality of the XPS was so much lower than the MacBook pro. The XPS touch pad was also not nearly as good. There was also a lot of bloatware on the XPS. I would only by the XPS at a big discount.
