Thermals leave a bit to be desired, but overall it is a great computer. It runs like butter and the keyboard is great. The best mousepad of any PC on the entire market.

IMO the only thing better in this laptop is the i7 core. Otherwise, I must take with me so many additional accessories that my laptop bag is full and heavier than ever. In my Embroidery/Sewing business where students expect their machines to last for 20 years, only a few machines can connect to a network or cloud. They use original USBs to transfer designs. Now I must have adaptors for software dongles, several USB with the embroidery digital files, and the mouse which is thousands of times easier to use for graphics. Using the keyboard is uncomfortable. Many times, in any word processing I accidentally turn on caps-lock instead of a lower case "a". I thought I asked the salesperson, but I am also missing my touch screen. I so miss my 10-year-old laptop that needed the i7 or better core but included a CD rom, and full sized USB connections. Just with my programs I filled 512GBs and the cloud is too slow for accessing my files so I purchased a 1T external drive --- another thing to plug into too few ports. must plug so many accessories

It's sleek and stylish with minimal branding and packs a lot of power into a nice chassis. I've had issues with other ultra thin laptops spinning up the fans like crazy during routine web browsing and was sick of the noise vs weight trade off. This laptop isn't exactly light, but it's dense and oozes a quality feeling. It's made me enjoy working on a laptop again and I would highly recommend it to anyone who can afford it.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's a wonderful machine other than the two issues I had. -Had to replace the laptop due to a manufacturing defect. -Have requested for a Type C to HDMI adapter replacement as it was causing blue screen errors(10 times a day). Not happy with the dell support though. They don't have a handle on their internal processes which caused lot of confusion during the replacement.

It's blazing fast and Windows 11 loads fast, so you are up and running quickly. Programs and apps load fast, and it is configured so everything runs fast and without any issues. The only issue is that all of the ports are USB C, so I need a couple of dongles to connect a couple of accessories. This is not much of an issue because most laptops these days are this way.
