Definitely a to-go if you need additional power for multimedia work. For the model that I got, you can also upgrade it to have additional SSD storage (which I did) and add more RAM if needed. Plenty of ports to use and surprisingly light for a desktop. Easy to set up.

I bought this unit for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analyses for my company. This unit has the memory and processor to handle huge GIS datasets in a decent amount of time without crashing. Very happy with the purchase.

Been very happy with this computer. I've always liked anything from Dell, and this one didn't disappoint. Very fast to boot up, and with 16GB of RAM, it allows me to do a bunch of things at one time. I've had it for 3 weeks now, and haven't found anything I'm not happy with. Just a great deal for the price.

Decent computer but you don't really get to much bang for your buck!! The computer is incredibly compact inside which will make it very hard to upgrade in the future.

This was an upgrade for me of the same model. I am very please with my purchase. My last system lasted 10 years with proper care. I didn't even look at other systems.

We purchased this computer to replace an older, slowing, Dell XPS (handed down to the kids). Set up was simple and data transfer was fast. This purchase makes it easy for me to know that I'd buy another Dell thru Best Buy when time comes.

I bought this when it was on sale for $799 a few months ago. Nice i7, 16 GB of RAM, this thing is a beast. I love that the RAM is a 2x8 configuration meaning that a future upgrade will be quick, easy, and cost effective. Whether editing and rendering HD video or just surfing the web, this is a great computer. The only downside is the HDD is only 1TB, but it has room for upgrades, otherwise this thing is a dream!

The system is loaded with all the features I needed. However, since buying this system I have had several problems. Many of the system functions (ie. File Explorer, Windows Explorer, and others) either hang or stop functioning. Usually exiting the program works, but sometime I am required to reboot. I have given up trying to use Windows browsers and downloaded Chrome. It at lease stays running. Sometimes with I issue a restart the system will hang in shutdown requiring a manual power cycle. It also does not handle multi tasking very well. some applications will stall while others hang or crash. Windows 10 also did not work with many of my older applications, mostly gaming apps, so be prepared to purchase new apps or try to get updated versions that will run. My old HP system I could leave running forever without problems. This system must be rebooted at lease once a month, sometimes more often. I believe the issue is more with the OS compatibility with the system than the system itself. If done over I would probably look for a Windows 7 system.

I purchased this computer and had to be ordered and it came in about 4 days to my home. The store did not have any in stock, that why it was ordered. I turn on the computer and worked on it for about an hour and then took a break so I turn off the computer(Dell XPS8900). Well when i came back to turn it on, it would not turn on. Called Dell and did some trouble shooting over the phone with no success. Now I have to wait for a tech to come to my residence, but who know when they will call and let me know when they will show up. I can not believe this computer, I am about to return this piece of junk back to Best Buy.
