I bought this one hoping it would be the best of both worlds but it was just OK.

Such a disappointment, thought this was a good brand. The shape of carafe lip is an odd angle so it always drips every time you try to pour. Only had it slightly over 2 years and the coffee part portion is already broken. Water leaks out so you never get brewed coffee. Such a waste of money.

I bought this unit in May of 2020 and had to take it back because the milk frother quit working. The replacement I exchanged it for did the same thing and now the controls quit working. I don't recommend this unit at all. It is overpriced and poor quality.

I really liked the older version. It made lattes a lot better than the newer one.

takes forever to brew any amount of coffee after only 1 year of use. the carafe has always made a mess trying to pour a cup from it even when it was brand new. paid 250 for this and im very unhappy with it

Had it for over a year,now it doesn't work anymore. 200.00 for this to quit after a year is ridiculous. A 20 pot lasts longer.

Overall we're pretty happy with this machine. I would say it's good, but not great at both coffee and espresso. I'll start with the coffee maker portion of the machine, which works well. It's easy to use and also programmable. Nothing mind-blowing, but it gets the basics right. The couple of pots we've made on this did seem slightly burnt to us, but we might need to experiment with the coffee or grinds a little bit more. The espresso portion of the machine seems to work well after some trial and error. The first shots we pulled were awful, but after reading the manual we changed out strategy and saw a big improvement. I think the the included tamp may be the problem - it's small and plastic and not the most ergonomic thing to work with. I would definitely recommend a better one if you plan to use this for espresso a lot. The steam wand is placed a little awkwardly and it can be difficult to get the milk pitcher underneath of it. I am glad that it includes an actual steam want and not just a frother though. One thing to note is this machine does not include a milk pitcher or espresso glasses - those are easy enough to find on your own, but something to be aware of. My complaints about this coffee maker are mostly minor and for the price point you get a lot of nice things. I would recommend it if you like to drink coffee and the occasional espresso drink.

Did not get warm enough to heat coffee to proper temperature. Also after three days of just morning use the craft cracked. Not worth the amount paid. Returned and bought a ninja.

This new coffee maker from DeLonghi sure has it all. If you're looking forward to enjoying your coffee, then look no further. While I am no coffee expert, the quality of the brewed coffee is quite obvious. To begin, the coffee brewed into the pot is as expected. I can come in fast if you're in a hurry, or you can select the 1-4 option to let it take its time and give you a much more rich taste. The auto warm function does not burn the brewed coffee, and keeps it at a nice drinkable temperature. It comes with a reusable filter, but I still use paper filters since it's much easier to clean. On the left side, is the espresso machine. This was a fun experiment for me, since I have not used one before. I will say that the provided instructions were not very clear. It took a while before I knew what the correct amount of coffee to put in the filter was. Once you get it working though, the coffee brewed basically tastes the same as one from a coffee shop. One thing I want to commend DeLonghi for is how easy it is to clean up the machine. Basically everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, the coffee touches, you can clean. Overall, I would definitely recommend this coffee maker to my friends and family in a heartbeat.

I hate it...I boxed it up to return but imagine it's too late. It doesnt make decent espresso ,it makes caramel water. I dont go to town every day

It stopped working less than year after purchase. If you purchase it please buy the extended warranty.

The espresso doesn't automatically shut off. It doesn't get hot enough either. If we weren't in this covid i would return it

I really like this combo coffee machine! Much better than having to buy 2 separate ones for sure. Not only saving your counter space, but saving you $$$. It also looks great on my counter-top for sure! It not only looks great, BUT for the short time I've had it, it makes great pots of coffee and super specialty drinks as well. I will say that when following the directions of use, for either side (either maker) you should be focused and relaxed and not get frustrated! It may seem a little complicated to some people, but it is just like anything else. Just take your time, be focused and it will be a breeze to learn and be able to use effortlessly in no time! It took me a couple of "practice runs" to get my brews just the way I like them, but now, a few pots & specialties later, I seem to be mastering this machine easily. It really does make great Caps' and Lattes. Just be mindful of how you put your grind and water into the separate locations and you're good to go! I'm sure, just like anything else, if taken very well care of, this machine should last you a good long time. I may come back in a month or so to add to my review for a more definitive one after I get more experience, and more than likely raise from 4 to 5 stars. But so far, I really like this machine!

I returned this twice. The time was impossible to set. The screen went crazy when it brewed coffee. Way overpriced for lack of quality.

It leaks and is not hot takes 15 mins to brew coffee as well

Leaks water when brewing espresso. Steam frother does not work very well. I will be exchanging for a Ninja which I absolutely loved.

This coffee maker has turned out to be much better than I had hoped. I figured, who needs a coffee maker that is this expensive... Apparently I do. It's a great size and can really go in most places, sure it's a bit larger than a standard drip coffee maker, but surprisingly, not much. I was surprised at the ease of use, I'm used to espresso and cappuccino machines of the past that are difficult and messy to use. This is easy, a breeze to clean and even allows for multiple options of coffee types (ESE pods and coffee grounds). To top it all off, the machine looks great in my kitchen next to the rest of my stainless steel appliances. It adds even more class sitting on my countertop and guests want to try it out. I'm not disinclined to let them either, as it is all such a nice experience overall. I heartily recommend this coffee maker for anyone looking for something a bit more high-end with plenty of options.

Worked great while it worked. Only worked for a couple of weeks before the coffee pot side stopped working.

I change it twice because the frother stop working, I end it buying another brand
