The inner pot works great on top of the stove and range oven. I haven't figured out all the features yet, but so far the oven/bake which is the first function that I have ever seen on a slow cooker and I love it along with the others.

It works well and I love cooking the meat right in the pot instead of a pan. A little pricey.
