Almost perfect auto pour over coffeemaker. The coffee tastes as close to my Chemex as possible using an automatic machine. The water boils in the top which I think may be glass (I can't tell) then drips down into filter that is in glass carafe. You must remove filter when coffee is ready, before pouring. This unit brews a delicious cup of coffee. 4 stars because there is a loud clicking sound each time more water is dispensed into carafe (we no longer hear it) Also lid on water reservoir is a bit awkward to lock. My main complaint is that about 3 weeks into using this machine twice daily the lights on both buttons were blinking and the only way to stop that was to unplug unit. When I plugged back in, the lights continued to blink. There is no mention of this in the instruction booklet that I could find. I was ready to return it when I realized that maybe it was a warning to descale. That is exactly what it was. I followed descale instructions, and it's been fine since. Love this machine! No bells and whistles, just a good cup of coffee.

It makes great coffee and I really like that I can see into every part...most machines could have all kinds of gunk and you wouldn't even know. It is SO sensitive, however, that even a month's use of only filtered water sent it to demanding de-scaling, which requires a solution I must purchase. Distilled water it will be, from now on;)

This machine makes delicious coffee, especially with the pour over method.It is also an elegant looking machine. The only downsides are that it isn't programmable to start every morning and that it is slloowww. But the coffee is so good, it is worth it.

I'm one of those people that just wants a good cup of coffee in the morning. This does it. It seems like I've tried everything under the sun but then would keep going back to the coffee store Peets. Which is really good coffee. And they're right on the way to work, I can use my app to order so no line. But with this coffee maker I can avoid that $4 cost every day as well as not have to get up and go to the coffee shop on my days off. You have to play a little bit with the amount of coffee/water so you don't get mud or watery coffee. Once you've got that done it's a very good cup of coffee. Highly recommend. Plus it's cool looking and about the easiest coffee maker to use that I've had in a long time. I also got it on some super sale marled way down even from their current sale prices. score!

I've used all 3 brewing methods on the maker and all 3 produced a great cup of coffee. The included filter holder is a great feature. Instructions are also easy to follow.

Two years later still a great coffee maker. The price was more than the simple ones, however, coffee tastes great. Once every 3-4 months you need to de-scale it. After a year it developed more beeps (???), that didn't change the use tho.

Been looking for a iced coffee maker for a while now and then I found this! The best coffee maker out there! I highly recommend this!

I was pleased to find a simple, no-frills coffee maker that heats water to the proper temperature for best extraction. I only had one problem with the machine. During the brew cycle I would hear a loud click and the flow would stop. This would happen a few times each cycle. I first thought the carafe was not holding the safety switch in, so I held the carafe in place but that did not help. It would take 10 to 12 minutes to brew 16 ounces of coffee. Sometimes it would beep to indicate the cycle was complete and sometimes not. I am very disappointed with the performance of the machine.

Good product, and very good value for the price paid.

Seemed to be a great coffee maker but once I received it, I had to return due to being so cheaply made. Not worth the price.
