So much better than a keurig! Actually taste like a good coffee hut drink and much cheaper! Our only gripe is that you can’t use the steamer simultaneously with pouring shots..but it’s easy to figure out and get a system down so it’s still smooth!

I have been drinking coffee for 15 years. In all that time I have never owned an espresso machine, just all the fancy ways to brew, pour over, french roast etc. so I was excited to purchase this item. When reviewing it seemed well like, reasonably priced, and effective at making quality espresso. I received it last night, this morning I followed the easy start instructions and WHAMMY, great tasting latte right out of the gates. I didn't play with coffee grind, temps, none of that and it was very good. I even used a simple cheap grinder to grind the beans, I don't even know how to properly tamp a shot. I know there is a long ways I can go to perfect the art of espresso, but with how good the first shot was, I may not have any motivation to get better. All said, wonderful machine, simple to operate, great fit in my kitchen, good looking. Really couldn't be happier with this product.

The espresso is OK but the default setting for amount of water is nearly double that of traditional Italian espresso. We just tap the button again when it reaches 2 oz but you can change the setting with a programming change. It takes some adjustments to get it all right so don't expect a perfect cup the first few times. (Even the instructions say that!) Was NOT impressed by the quality of the "stainless steel". With a lightly abrasive (not metallic) sponge we scratched the heck out of the drip tray cover the first time we cleaned it. That's pretty absurd and now ugly. It's too late to turn back but I guess we'd consider something a step up from this. The double espresso holds about 14g of coffee max, so if you want to really go 16-18g, that's unlikely to happen. Too fine a grind and the machine struggles to send water through and you get a slow drip. The plastic tamper is lame considering the price. Also, we are a bit doubtful of the durability of the rubber nozzle inside the frothing wand.

For a first time espresso maker owner, this is perfect! It’s fairly easy to operate and doesn’t occupy much counter space. Easy to clean. Above all, makes espresso / cappuccino fast. The frothing / steam function is sometimes tricky to operate but once you have it figured out, it’s a pleasure to make the effort for a good coffee.

Great but would appreciate an open basket, as it is very sensitive to how you compress grounds. If you tamp even a little bit too hard, no coffee comes out. Combo tamper and spoon is unusable, really. Also a long wait for it to cool back down to brew temp after steaming milk, so if you need to do more than 1 or 2 at a time, you’re either waiting for the machine to cool, or using cool coffee with hot milk. But for the price it has an excellent heater, a good steamer, and makes superb coffee after a bit of a learning curve.

I bought this for the design on a small counter. The proper way to use it is turn it on, wait till light stop flashing, use frother first, then spray out the frother it will cool the system, after lights stop flashing again, system is ready for essprsso. Its good, not great but pretty good.

The machine works as advertised, making delicious espresso and it takes less than a minute to heat up and start brewing. I wanted something relatively simple in design (less things to break) and this was the best machine I could find that fit that bill. On sale, it cost $215 which I found to be a bargain and will easily pay for itself in short order. Highly recommended!

This is my fourth cappuccino maker, and I would recommend this product to those who do not want to pay $600+ for a cappuccino maker. Machine is easy to use; works fast; makes good, frothy steamed milk; and tells me when it needs to be descaled. Fits nicely on a small kitchen counter.

I purchased this for my husband for Father's Day. He said he really likes it...he makes cappuccinos, lattes and americanos with it. We no longer go to Starbucks so I figure after about 40-50 drinks, this thing will have paid for itself. My husband said it's easy use and clean. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because the machine doesn't make the espresso or steamed milk that hot. He always comments on how he wishes it was hotter. Other than that, we love it!

Right out of the box, this makes amazing espresso, and it is so easy to use. From just straight espresso to lattes or cappuccinos, you can make it all so easily that you will want to use this every day. I have to restrain myself simply because I like to use Starbucks coffee, which is pretty expensive. I would like to try the little pods that you can use with this machine, though. The only problem I have with it is that it is difficult to gauge how much coffee to put into the little holder, because if you put too much it is nearly impossible to close it up.

I got this item thinking it would not be as good as some of the much more expensive types, but I was surprised it actually is a very good machine for the price. The coffee taste great - I buy espresso beans through Starbucks and the coffee taste just as if I was at Starbucks. Though I would have given it 5 stars had it come with a full metal tamper but it does come with a cheaply made plastic one :( Would have expected better but it is what it is... Grandma and I invested in this espresso machine as we were tired of paying for coffee’s and losing a couple hundred dollars a month. Coffee is expensive I’ll tell you that. I used to be a barista so I figure I could whip up something for us at home. I’m able to pull shots for my blended coffees as well as steam milk and craft a hot latte for grandma. So far the machine has run Smooth, no problems at all! If you want a good espresso machine that is efficient and affordable, give this one a go!
