This machine takes your whole bean coffee and turns it into the gormet coffee of your choice with the push of a single button. It’s quite remarkable actually. With wifi and app control i can wake start my morning coffee from anywhere in the house and save my own personalized coffee beverages for a completely custom user experience. Does both hot and cold drinks, drip coffee in cup or carafe sizes (this inclides cold brew coffee), and makes espresso martinis an absolure breeze. The only thing I would change is the inclusion of a carafe or at least offer one foe purchase on the DeLonghi website, from what I could tell they don’t make one at all so I had to order one from amazon. If this is something you desire, make sure you look for something with straight up and down sides, your typical coffee pot tapers in at the top which makes the espresso dispenser unable to reach the pot. I found a 50 oz (1500mL) Copotea glass tea pot with infuser for $20 which works perfectly. If the machine broke tomorrow I would go out tomorrw morning and buy a new one immediately without hesitation. Oh, and if I didn’t mention it yet, this machine has already paid for itself in reduced Starbucks charges in the couple months that ive owned it, incredible value.

I purchased the DeLonghi Eletta Explore in March, 2025, and after several months of daily use, I can confidently say this has been an excellent upgrade for my home coffee setup. Overall performance has been outstanding. The machine consistently produces high quality espresso with rich crema, well balanced flavor, and great temperature control. Whether I’m making a simple espresso, americano, latte, or cappuccino, the results are very consistent from cup to cup. One of the biggest strengths of this machine is its versatility. The hot and cold drink options are incredibly convenient, especially the cold brew and iced coffee features. The cold foam system works surprisingly well and produces smooth, creamy foam that rivals what you’d get at a café. Switching between drink types is easy and intuitive. The user interface is another highlight. The touchscreen is responsive, clear, and easy to navigate. Customizing drinks, adjusting strength, milk amount, and temperature is straightforward, even for someone who isn’t a coffee expert. Cleaning prompts and maintenance reminders are also helpful and easy to follow. Build quality feels solid and premium. The machine looks great on the counter and feels well engineered. Despite the number of features, it runs quietly and efficiently. The grinder performs very well, delivering consistent grounds without being overly loud. Milk handling is also excellent. Both hot and cold milk systems are easy to use and clean, and the automatic cleaning cycles make maintenance much less of a hassle compared to other espresso machines I’ve owned. The only downside I’ve found so far is the water tank size. It’s a bit small for a machine this capable, especially if you make multiple drinks a day or frequently use milk based beverages. I find myself refilling it more often than I’d like. This isn’t a deal breaker, but it’s something to be aware of. If you’re looking for a premium super automatic espresso machine that offers flexibility, ease of use, and great tasting coffee at home, the Eletta Explore is absolutely worth it. Despite the small water tank, it has exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it without hesitation.

Have owned the device for a few months now. Fell in love with Flat Whites after visiting New Zealand. Was spending way too much money at Starbucks. This machine makes incredible quality Flat Whites. Truly blown away how easy the drinks are to make and how delicious they are. Highly recommend! Have not yet tried cold drinks. The machine and even the to-go tumbler is also super high quality.

This is our 3rd super automatic espresso machine. Started with a Krups unit years ago and wore it out. Our last machine was the Phillips 4300. Worked well for about 4 years then the quality of the coffee went downhill due to something mechanical failing in the unit. Decided on the Eletta Explore and so far absolutely love it. My wife uses mainly to brew coffee and after a little bit of tweaking, she’s dialed in her coffee. I use it for both coffee and to make milk based drinks. Coffee is extremely hot every time (Phillips was not) The milk based drinks are easy to make, basically one touch which the my Phillips model didn’t offer. It’s also super easy to clean after each milk based drink. Just turn the knob on the milk carafe and it’s clean. There is a wide variety of drinks to choose from. The milk based drinks could be hotter but this I know from reading other reviews. Not terrible but I usually blast in the microwave for 15-20 seconds. Very quiet in comparison to prior units as well. Screen is bright and responsive. App could use work. Takes forever to connect and is klugy. Overall, would highly recommend. Looked at this unit and the Kitchenaid KF8. Hope it’s durable for the $1500 we paid for it.

My wife and I are absolute coffee lovers and needed more than just a regular coffee maker at home. This machine is great and makes the most stunning presentation of coffee. Its like having a barista at home. Our guests feel like they walk into Starbucks when we invite them a coffee. From lattes to just hot milk. This machine has it. I personally love the cortado. And the milk froth is on point. The self cleaning makes it even better.

Great automatic coffee/espresso machine. You can connect the machine to your phone and make drinks directly from your app. You will always need to have a cup up under the spout because every time you cut it on and hit automatically clean itself with boiling hot water. All you need to have is a cup underneath the spout and drinks will automatically be performed. The creamer/milk containers have to be installed into the machine daily. It is a push connect and easily installed. Would definitely recommend to a friend too many benefits to name.

Super easy to use and maintain. I’ve had it for two months and I’ve barely accessed all of the features. We have made well over 150 cups of coffee, espresso and lattes with this machine. I was spending $125 a week at starbucks. In yhe last two months, i’ve been to starbucks once… oh, and get best buy total - worth it.

We love our DeLonghi Eletta Explorer! My wife, my son, and I have all set our personal profiles and have specific drinks saved. We used to have a DeLonghi Magnifica, which was great!

I absolutely love this machine! It makes a wonderful cup of coffee and a sinful caramel latte macchiato (syrup sold separately)! I also love the cold brew options. I truly feel spoiled with this espresso machine! It’s like my own personal barista at home!

Make great espresso, cappuccinos, and macchiato’s machine overall performance is very very good. I’ve purchased many different type of machines in the few in the past and I find this one to be one of the better ones and at the price point it’s worth buying.

I’ve always had great results with De’Longhi machines — my Dinamica was a rock star for years — so I had high expectations for the Eletta Explore. Right out of the box, I was impressed by the sleek design and the massive selection of pre-programmed drinks. The hot and cold options are awesome, especially the cold brew feature — it’s perfect for quick, refreshing coffee on warmer days. Unfortunately, I’ve run into an issue. My machine makes a very loud noise when grinding and extracting coffee. It’s not the usual sound you’d expect — it’s jarring and clearly not normal. Once the cycle ends, the noise stops, but it’s enough to make me question if something’s wrong internally. And since this unit is less than a week old, that’s pretty disappointing. I was able to make a video and you can plainly hear the strange internal noise the unit is making. I’m planning to exchange it, but it’s made me second-guess whether I should stick with De’Longhi or go with a Jura instead. I picked this model based on my excellent experience with the Dinamica, so I’m hoping I just got a defective unit. If it wasn’t for the grinding issue, this would be a 5-star machine — no doubt

It’s been two weeks since my purchase and I love it!!

The De'Longhi coffee machine has been a true discovery for me, as I absolutely love coffee. It combines a stylish design with excellent functionality, making the coffee-making process a real pleasure. First of all, I am impressed by the quality of the coffee this machine brews. Each cup comes out rich, aromatic, and with the perfect froth. Thanks to the various settings, I can easily adjust the strength and temperature of the drink, allowing me to experiment with different coffee varieties. The machine is also very easy to use. Love it, love it, love it! Easy to use, milk canister self cleaning, and the best is that coffee is tasty and really hot!! From the slick design to having the option of adjusting each drink to desired strength, along with other options, it is a super functional coffeemaker!

This should be your machine!!! It was a serious issue finding the “exact” machine thst was perfect for my specific style & demanding taste! After many machines of assorted brands (all very high end), I finally decided to choose this one for my increasingly demanding taste. Happily, THIS MODEL met the challenge perfectly! I’ve enjoyed this brand and model with exceptional happiness… it trujy is the coffee machine for a burgining barista. It allows me the exceptional joy to prepare most “any” beverage I can imagine to absolute perfection. From expressive coffee concoctions to tea’s, coco even cold beverages as well. If you don’t mind maintaining this machine, there isn’t a beverage it cannot prepare perfectly! Not only does it help you, it even walks you through system maintenance perfectly!
