This happened randomly at night when the unit was in the standby mode. I called up De Longhi to help me troubleshoot. The costumer service representative asked me to upload a video of water leaking which I did. She promised to call me back right after I upload the videos. Yet to hear back!! After the second leak happened I searched the internet for similar issues. This apparently is a known issue plaguing a number of owners. I decided to return the machine instead of dealing with poor reliability of this product. Make sure before you buy it you are okay to send this a few times for repairs.

The overall look of the machine makes it look more expensive than what it is. While the functions are overall beneficial, the cost may not justify it if you want a basic coffee maker. If you like something that has the looks & functionality the machine offers, then this is the one.

The service group was very responsive, however, we have not rec'd the Fedex box to send it to the service center. We cannot offer a detailed review until we actually use it long enough to have a valid opinion.

Cost more than my first car, and I don't even drink coffee. This was a gift for my girlfriend. Maybe I should save some money and leave her. Anyways, it's still in the box, but I'm getting Points for writing this so here we are again. Vote for me in the 2024 election and I'll make sure no coffee makers cost this much ever again
