I read everyone else's reviews about poor reception from fm modulator and I had the same problem until I read the installation instructions to have the unit properly installed you have to get either an xm sureconnect or fm direct adapter. The sure connect is really easy to install right on your cars existing antenna. Once I did this it comes in better than any other xm unit I have had. It is great.

This radio was a great bargain, and I was surprised that it was sold for such a low price. The interface is not only user friendly, but it is easy to see without distracting. The buttons are easy to use, and the system easily integrates into my car. Installation was easy, and it is so good, I regret when I have to get out of my car!

Quickly installed myself the FM Direct Adapter and XpressRC was so easy and fast. A constant crystal clear sound, the display is awesome and easy to use. without an adapter youre not getting the best sound, its worth it!!!

This satillite receiver is amazing, it was easy to set up, the screen is easy to read, and XM provides a great channel line up. This reicever makes it so easy to switch between channels and programs.

I purchased this for my in-laws for their long trips down to Florida every year. At first they were unsure about how to use it and why they would need it, but after their first trip they were HOOKED! XM has great channels and the convenience is second to none.

Got it as a christmas gift and had to return it- it worked for about 1 hour then lost signal and was suck on the please wait screen that is if i could even get it to turn on--- it was realy nice for that hour but for 180 i want somthing that will trun on and i can use more then once- i returned it and purchased an older style. Oh well

Brought this unit for work truck had Roady 2 unit but wanted to upgrade so I did and man am I sorry tried two of these units and both had poor reception using the fm modulator and i do not have a tape player in truck so could not tell you how that works so it looks like I am going to go back to my Roady 2 unit

My Jeep's cassette deck does not have an auto-reverse cancellation, so on cold days, the cassette adapter will randomly reverse direction, cutting off the music. If it does it more than 3 times (which is common), the cassette will eject. Am considering an FM modulator so I can get rid of the cassette.

this is an awesome radio, it has just about everythig you would look for in a satellite radio

I was very eager to get this item. But, I was first disappointed to discover that the display does not provide album art as I assumed from a couple of photos I had seen. It just shows a static image per station. However, the color screen is very nice and easy to see in day or night conditions. Also, the split screen feature is very cool as you can see what is currently playing on the previous station. The remote buttons are a little harder to find than on the SkyFi2 remote. As far as the FM modulator reception goes, it is very weak and barely worked in my Acura RL. I then traveled to buy a car out of state and drive it back with this unit in it and the FM reception was so bad that I could not use it at all. Once I returned home, I put my old SkyFi2 system in the new vehicle and it works great. So, looks like the FM modulator that is built in is a major downgrade.
