I purchased for my daughter for Christmas and she LOVED the game. It is a little like Mortal Kombat, I can see the similarities, however, there is a whole storyline that it follows as well. My child loves this game and how the characters are portrayed.

I would wait for it to go on sale. If you have played chronicles 1 65% of the characters are copy n paste. With 2 new demons and maybe 8-10 new human characters. Other than that story is short and ends at the hashira training. Overall: Good, not worth full price if you have played chronicles 1 WAIT for the psn sale or in store sale once it drops by half.

However the single player gameplay is sloppy at best. Sure it follows the show but it is extremely funneled. It gives you a chance to explore and do some side quests. However it’s just run from point a to point b and go back again. Pretty boring and unrewarding. That on top of the high price tag I’d only rate it at 2 stars. Barely playable
