A great example of a game that has every thing you could ask for except for the most important and number 1 ability every one who plays games asks for, the game save ability, yes it does have a game save but it is an auto save format. If you die (and you will) the game saves it at the beginning of the section you are playing, takes all your important items you have aquired away and makes you start over again. If you like playing from the beginning again and again and again, than this is the game for you. For me it was a waste of 60 bucks. Now an Ebay item.

You must get this game! Watch other players roam around the world in a spirit-like form as you play in your on. Leave clues and warnings to help other players see what they've missed or what lies ahead. You can even ask other people to join you in your game to fight off a boss! Dual wield comes easy and is available right away! Just equip a first and secondary weapon to each hand and use the directional button to switch between weapons. Use the shoulders for one type of attack with that weapon and the bottom shoulder button for a secondary attack with that same weapon. When you start out in the game, you will be roaming around a castle in a world where everything is thrown into chaos because of a fallen king. Demons and demon-bosses fill this world and you must defeat them and gain their souls for upgrades and new weapons and armor. You'll meet your first boss in about five minutes after starting and he will kill you. Once you die, you will go to a soul place where you will told to kill a demon boss in order to come back to life. Once you die, you lose half of your power (though you can get an item to reduce the loss of power from death). After you kill your first boss, your power is restored and you can travel to five different worlds total (including the one where you killed your boss at). You can even invite other players to join you in killing a boss (via item) or join someone else in their game; though someone must be living for this to take place. If you just play the game, YOU WILL BE HOOKED!! Great assortment of armor, weapons, classes, magics and miracles to customize your character and add tons and tons of replay value! GI gave this game a 9.0 and listed replay value as "HIGH". Though this game is for those with patience, because you will die alot and when you do, you must fight all of the enemies you've already killed(except bosses); you will also lose any souls you captured, though you keep all weapons and items you required; but you can regain the souls by making to your own bloodstain without dying again.This is a great way to get tons of souls. You can also watch hoiw others died by selecting their bloodstains. Enjoy the game. I know I am!

Is a must have for hardcore RPGers and action game players alike.

I am a gamer that playes all types of games and when I got this game I got so mad when I couldn't get past the first world. Well just a heads up if your looking for a short game that your can beat in a couple of days then this is not your game cause you will be spending about 5-6 hours on one world before you can move on to the next world, but the times pays off because of the rewards are AMAZING. This is officially the rpg game. I personally recomend the thief since your get a free bow with arrows that are very effective against enemies and i havent played online yet but my frined told me it is very exciting. After you get used to playing the game and become pretty strong set your system to oct. 31 for halloween mode which is more rewarding but also harder.

I've probably clocked in more than 12 hours of game now, and the game continues to impress me. Don't get the game if you get easily frustrated by video games, it's pretty difficult at first but definitely can be tamed. The game is really fun, but it's more of a game that you want to experience on your own and now with friends.

This Game Is Excellent, it reminds me a lot of ICO and Shadow of the collosuss, however the controls are much smoother, the dungeons are much more eccentric, and the Bosses are (yes, even bigger and scarier) If you like unorthodox game style, scary graphics, and the first game since ghosts and goblins to actually be "challenging" (aka. as hard as *beep*) then get this game. This is one that seperates the casual gamers that like relaxing when they play the game, from the people that are used to obsticals in their life and choose to overcome them rather than run away. From experience, I don't have a lot of time playing games, I didn't even open this one for 4 days after I bought it. I was timid that it would be too hard, but that truly is the beauty of this game. The reward after beating is worth all the time you spent on it.

Is it hard? Yes. Do you have to start at the beginning of a level when killed? Yes. Does it take a great deal of time to master? Yes. Will you get angry, frustrated, scream, cuss and throw things? Yes. Will you love every minute of it if you are looking for a game that challenges you, rewards you and you actually makes you devise strategies to advance through the different levels? Absolutely. I can't say enough positive things about this game. Great weapon and character customization which is needed to defeat different foes. You don't just finish a level and go on. You may need to go back to different areas at different times to advance through the game, and the challenge of those areas changes. Each level and boss is unique and it never seems to get repetitive, even when you have to start over because you die. Yes you may lose souls that are used for purchasing items, but you don't lose anything else. This game isn't for everyone, but if you want one of the most challenging games available for the PS3, buy this game!

Very cool game, you have tips that show up as meeages to read or you can revive others that are playing the game online. You can see how others have died by clicking on blood stains.

This is a fun and challenging game the story line is great. Man vs Evil can not get better than that!

This game is amazing. The sense of tension the game creates is unparrelleled. People can watch you for hours gasping everytime you turn a corner to get ambushed. It is one of a kind. Some people may find the challange all little to intense and lots of dieing may disscourage some people from playing, but I definately recommend this game to anyone lookig for a challenge.

this game is awesome but i hate the fact you cant pause it and it doesnt have checkpoints sometimes u need to die to figure out how to beat a part but in this game if u die u are damed this game is to weird for my taste!! im now waiting for God of war 3 im better at the hack and slash
