Challenging and almost a little too difficult having to start at the beginning when you die, but worth checking out on a sale

Probably the hardest game I've ever played, but it's also my favorite game I own on the PS5 so far. Absolutely love this game, no matter how mad it makes me. 10/10 recommend for anyone who loves Soulsborne games or someone looking for a challenge.

TL/DR A difficult game, but highly rewarding while delivering next visuals. This game delivers a true next gen experience! Did not play the original and cannot speak to the "remake experience" but as my 1st Souls game I haven't had this much fun since God of War. Playing at 60 fps is a game changer. The ps5 handles it well but I will say there is 1 time each gaming session that I get a 2-4 second freeze of game play, not a big deal, but some might complain. When defeating a challenging boss the reward is monumental, no pun intended. The stats can be difficult to understand. Kind of wish they had tutorial on this. Also the colored stone's uses are difficult to understand, but a YouTube explanation is all you need. I was afraid of using stones to figure out what they do because you cannot create separate save files, thus one time use only.

If you like a challenge, this is the game! I love soulsborne like games. Amazing upgrade from the original. The visuals and the story is no other.

This is my first Souls game and I tried to go into it without knowing too much about the series other than knowing how challenging the games can be. The game looks amazing on the PS5 and is a great launch title to pick up. It has so much content to replay with a different class or NG+. I’ll continue to play it to try to get platinum. Out of the launch titles I purchased, this one is my favorite. If you want a challenge, you won’t be disappointed. For being new to the series, it was nice to watch some videos online to understand mechanics and concepts of the game that tend to be a little confusing. I definitely recommend getting it if you have a PS5.

Good game amazing detail to everything. Fast load times but the bad thing is there’s not a lot of people playing online :( Highly recommend though!

Awesome game for the PS5! Incredible graphics and gameplay. It is a bit tough and requires a lot of patience - but the visuals are stunning and overall, it's a fantastic game to challenge yourself.

This remake is Fantastic! The graphics are phenomenal and are greatly improved from the original version. The game play is just as great as current souls games. Highly recommend this game.

This game looks and plays absolutely excellent!! If you have a PS5 definitely pick this one up. A faithful recreation of the classic demon souls. If you're new to the souls series prepare for the original brutal challenge.

This is a great renewal on life for the cult classic Demon's Souls. The game remains very similar to the original PS3 version but with visual and performance updates. Any exploits or glitches found in the original game will still apply to this version of the game. Outside the distinct non-From Software style character creation I find the game very enjoyable.

New to the series but I like it so far, even though it's tough and I keep dying. Incredible graphics and fast load times. Definitely a good launch title and recommend it if you have patience and like a good challenge.

Although this game is ruff-N-tuff it is my fav launch game of the new generation! The feeling from finally overcoming a level is amazing! I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys bloodborne/Dark Souls series...

I picked this up to give the Souls genre a try and I'm glad I did, even though I fell off of it pretty hard. The graphics, load times, and QOL improvements are nice but I feel like there are probably better Souls games out there that aren't $70. Still, it's a nice showpiece for the PS5 if you have one.

If you played the ps3 original you know these games are hard and you will die a lot. But the challenge is so satifying plus this remaster the graphics are unreal.

I've never played one of these 'Souls' games. So far, it's insanely hard. But I'm enjoying myself, even though the gameplay involves constantly dying over and over. Works great and runs beautifully on the PS5.

Never played the original game on my PS3 but I'm glad I waited. This remake looks fantastic on the PS5. The difficulty can be a bit challenging but practice and you shall succeed.

I love Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Elden Ring, but I never had a chance to play Demon's Souls before. I got a Playstation 5 just so I could play this game, and it is incredible how tightly designed it is. However, there are a lot of little things that are clearly a sign of being an older game, and even though the visuals were updated for PS5 and it's a full game, it does not have the quality of life features or newer mechanics introduced in later games like Dark Souls or Elden Ring. That said, I'm very happy to have played it.

Demon' s Souls may be frustratingly challenging but it's very addictive. This was a nice game to try on the PS5. It's a must have for any Souls fan. The graphics are beautiful.

Amazing remake of a ps3 classic. Keeps the original's combat and gameplay, with quality of life improvements and stunning visuals. The definitive way to play Demon Soul's. A must have for ps5 players.

Yo this game is definitely the best ps5 launch title I have 100+ hrs on it and it still feels fresh, as a souls game veteran, it was definitely smooth sailing after flamelurker pounded for me a good 4hrs
