Trash - Absolute useless junk
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because I wanted the adapter for the macbook pro with the square head rather than the long head. For some reason, it feels like the long head adapter leaks electricity, so I get little shocks (which doesn't happen when I use the square head). Apple doesn't seem to sell that model anymore, so I was happy when I saw this generic brand available. I plugged this adapter into the wall then connected it to my macbook pro. The green light came on once for about 30 seconds then it died. I tried the adapter in several outlets including one that was not at my home. It was dead. It only worked for 30 seconds. Believe the negative reviews. This is junk. I returned it. Fortunately, the sales associate at Best Buy was polite about my return as she kind of expected it. Unless you really want to make an extra trip to Best Buy, do not buy this. If you do buy it, make sure you do not lose your receipt so you can return it that same day.

Better Than Expected

Although the charging light has turned off a few times as many reviews suggest, it remained charging and the light was off for a few seconds. It charges equivalent to its 85W (18.5V x 4.6A = 85W) output counterpart that's over 2x the price. Both are made overseas so there's no 'loyalty' benefit to buying the other adapter for over 2x the price.

Charging cord for MAC

This came SOONER than I expected which was great so I had enough time to make sure the computer was actually functional before I gave it to her as a gift.

Broke after 6 months

I thought maybe it was just a defect since the product is so cheap. Fool me once...you know how the saying goes. Anyway, currently using my second one and it's starting to break after less than 6 months. Will not be buying a Denaq product again.
