I've always been a Yamaha guy, but when Best Buy had this model on sale I had to check it out. It had all the features I wanted at a lower price than Yamaha. I upgraded from a 5.1 to a dual zone 5.2 and 2.0 setup. 5.2 in the living room and a set of speakers in the kitchen. The receiver does great playing different audio in two rooms. Had it for about a month now with no problems.

I love the wireless capability for listening to pandora and online music! Easy to use and great quality. Only complaint is that it will not work well with my Directv remote. Volume works fine with the remote but will not turn off with it. Not a big deal and they may fix this with an update with directv. Otherwise very happy with purchase especially since I got this on sale!

This receiver is an excellent system. I have mine configured in a 5.1 setup to start with and may add in most speakers later on to make it a 7.x setup. in 5.1, the system performs quite well and is feature rich. Not the highest end most powerful unit on the market, but if you want some quality sound and need the keep the costs in check, this is your answer.

I did a lot of research, there are so many different models, companies, reviews, etc. I am very happy with my purchase. The wifi is awesome, the power is more than enough. I have it paired up with Harmon Kardon surround sound and a sub. Even my video games are a better experience.

I switched to this reciever from an older Sony which I loved and every aspect has improved. Very easy to set up with the on screen instructions and easy to calibrate the speakers with included microphone. My music and TV have never sounded better

This is a solid piece of audio equipment. It sounds great. The sound is accurate and crisp. There are a great many ways to customize the receiver's operation. I especially like the integrated tone equalizer. The speaker outputs are limited to 5.1. However, I don't need any more than that to produce the desired aural effect. Two surround speakers and one center speaker does the trick. The receiver puts out enough wattage to power the speakers up to volumes higher than I can listen to.

This is a great DVR value for the money. It includes everything essential to a 4k entertainment center, HTCP 2.2, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and wifi updates. I would highly recommend. Plus with Denon Audyssey eq it can't be beat.

The 710w is a very basic AVR that provides exaclty what it advertises. Paired with a decent set of speakers, the sound is excellent. I used to own a blu-ray home theater set and this Denon blows it away. I feel like I have been missing out on a great sound system for many years!!! I would recommend this system to a novice since there aren't many connections to be made, thus, its easy to setup. I give it only 3 stars since I have had HDMI hand shake issues and don't think my cbl/sat HDMI port works anymore. Most likely something I can get Denon to fix for me. If you know anything about HDMI, it happens.

Works great has a lot of great features. using it with my older bose speaker speaker set and I'm amazed at the difference with this receiver! rich crisp sound and was easy to hook up!

Upgraded from prior generation due to the added features for ultra 4K. Could not pass up price during Black Friday special. But despite the price, it's an awesome system overall.

The receiver sounds great, plenty of power for my large room even with my old speakers. Getting the sound just right was a little tricky, otherwise I would rate it excellent.

it has a great surround system and its really easy to use if your a beginner in setting it up. i highly recommend it even if its a little more pricey its worth it.

The sound quality that this pushes is amazing. It's also great to have the Bluetooth so we can easily listen to the music or audiobooks on our phones.

This is my second Denon, had a Yamaha before this, but needed the 4k pass through for my new 4k TV, great receiver, sound is awesome, easy setup.

After researching many AV receivers, I landed on the Denon 1155W. Great sound reproduction, easily adapts to all of my equipment. Very easy to use.

Has been a while since we have upgraded our audio, and spent some time looking at the price-point vs the quality of the sound. This receiver came in at the top slot for the range we were looking - and it was worth every penny. Paired with an excellent speaker pair (focus is music here) and a minimal time investment to perform the sound analysis setup, you have an amazing sound solution! love the extra features with internet connectivity and streaming of the radio stations, and the youtube videos through bluetooth bring it to another level!

Easy setup sounds good I would have given it a 5star rating but sometimes it switches to a Bluetooth search an I have to switch it back to sat tv.

This receiver delivers on everything I had hoped for. I use it in my large living room as my home theater system and I can't believe how much I was missing with my 10 year old Sony. Using HDMI cables allows the remote to control nearly every function of all other remotes. Bluetooth and Wifi add icing on the cake. I hear sounds I've never heard before. The capability to have my back yard poolside speakers separate from inside makes the wife happy (not so much the neighbors). Great price for awesome value.

Connection and set up were relatively straight forward. Screen displays guided through the process - nothing fancy but it worked. Connections for speakers and devices worked as planned. Sound quality is okay - seems less intense than my old Sony receiver but better to connect to on-line content. Overall, good receiver in this price range if connecting to a single room (audio is capable of a second room but only one video out).

I bought the Denon on sale and love the purchase price. LOVE the reciever!! I updated a very old Yamaha system that had no special features. I love the bluetooth and outputs to make specific selections. My only bummer is not the reciever, but I currently have a Denon soundbar SO I wanted to put surrround sound system in, but I cant do both. They said it is either the soundbar or the surround sound...Is this correct??
