I have been very pleased with this receiver. I had a ONKYO before, and while overall it was a fine receiver, it unfortunately had the same fate as so many over the last few years and the sound went out. Denon has shown consistency in the quality of their products, and it was worth switching brands

I picked up this receiver after reading the reviews. I love it. I didn't have any problems setting it up with my Logitech Harmony remote. I use this device to drive my TV, with an Apple TV 4th Gen as my main video source. The two work great together! I connected to my existing JBL 5.1 speakers and they have never sounded so good! I like the on-screen display showing information when needed. My last receiver was so old school it had RCA connections for video switching. This was a great purchase to get with the times. I did have some trouble with the remote app for the iphone. The device cannot be found when scanning my network for receivers. I had to set a fixed IP address and then instruct the app to add the receiver at that IP. After that the remote app worked well.

Great sound quality and picture delivery with ease of use.

I bought this to replace an 8-year old receiver that died. Stayed with same 7.1 speaker configuration. Easy to get all wires/cables attached, then sound-balance the room with mic. I've got it programmed through my Harmony 650 remote, so I don't use the remote per se. But sound is terrific! My daughter loves built in Bluetooth so she can stream music from anywhere. The sound comes from the whole room - receiver really balanced room well. Love it and looking forward to years together.

I am not much on sound but my husband is. He always complained of needing a new sound system but since he received this as a birthday gift he has changed his mind. This receiver puts out way more sound than the last and enhances his system beyond worlds. This is a must have receiver if you are in to movie theatre sound.

I was looking for a good receiver to connect all my devices including apple tv, xbox , dvd player to TV. This receiver is exactly what i was looking for, a MEDIA HUB. Nice sound and nice receiver would recommend to anyone who is looking for media hub

This has some wonderful sound quality and many extra options. Is worth the little extra money for the quality you get from this receiver. The only negative to me is the amount of time it takes to set it up. It was time consuming but the instructions were very helpful and led you through it step by step.

I'm using this receiver in my dedicated theater room and so far so good. Setup was a breeze and the automated Audyssey puts your speakers to perfect use. I'm already familiar with Denon so setup and options were not new to me. This receiver has all the bells and whistles one could ask for. The on screen GUI could be a little better. It's still pretty basic and similar to the GUI on my Denon that I've had for 4 years now. The sound is definitely great and there are plenty of inputs for all of your components.

I owned an older Denon receiver and what I like about this new one is the simplicity in setting this up. It sounds really nice in my environment. Make sure to connect this to the Internet and do the firmware update 1st. I purchased this as I'm looking into upgrading my tv to a 4K one.

When speaking with the sales rep he supported my choice in product as it was the biggest bang for the buck. I had it already picked out as I had done my due diligence prior to arriving. He was great and help me pick out the appropriate cables. I am very pleased with the DENON line.

I had way to many cords running to my television. I went into Best Buy looking for a longer HDMI cord because I was rearranging my surround sound system. After speaking to one of Best Buys reps it was suggested I try running all my cords thru the receiver which would eliminate the multiple cords running to the tv. I tried it and I am satisfied with the out come. I only have one cord going into the television which was easy to conseal and my sound system has been upgraded. Problem solved. The only thing I don't like is if I'm watching tv and turn my laptop on the receiver automatically switches over to the laptop disrupting the sound from the television. I'm sure I can adjust the settings but have not been able to fix it yet.

I had an older Denon receiver where I never have figured out how to use the remote. This new model is easy to setup and use. It has a front facing HDMI port allowing for easy connection of a computer. Intuitive interface and greate feature set.

I was somewhat apprehensive before purchasing this receiver, but that all disappeared once I had it hooked up and running. Very simple to install and program. Worth the investment, so far!

Easy to hook up. Works well with Vizio TV, Harmony Ultimate, Apple TV. Need patience when using Internet and satellite radio. Slow connection, but probably a Time Warner problem.

I was having a hard time finding a receiver that could handle a 4ohm load after purchasing my new Martin Logan system. This is what i found that would work in the price range i had to work with. It is worth every penny!!!

PLUG AND PLAY DOESNT GET ANY EASIER THAN THIS PRODUCTS DIRECTIONS! I WAS SET UP AND LISTENING TO INTERNET RADIO IN NO TIME.

Solid receiver. Is powering a 12" polk sub and 2 klipsch R 260 F towers. Hasnt gotten hot or had issues. The airplay feature is nice as well as the spotify feature. Audessey works great great bang for buck

I bought this to replace the Denon AVR-S710W That I gave to a family member. This one is so superb that I am grinning from ear to ear over the sound. The surround is exceptional and the quality is tremendous. Set up was a breeze. I hope I never have to buy another system again. It would be hard to beat this one.
