Great sound. Easy install. Easy to use. Good features.

The set up is easy and actually entertaining. The sound quality is on par with comparable priced receivers. I bought this for my mother and a pioneer elite for myself. It sounds quite close to an elite's quality. The second zone is a little quirky when it comes to when you can separate the sources, but overall pretty decent.

Easy setup, good sound quality, good value (purchased on sale). All in all, very pleased.

I replaced my old Onkyo system with this new Denon. The difference has been amazing. I hear so many things I was missing before but didn't know it. I found the Denon on sale and after doing all of my research it was absolutely the best bang for the buck.

Would have given this 5 stars but cannot access Pandora through the receiver. Demon acknowledges on their phone system there is a problem. Otherwise a great receiver.

I needed to replace my Pioneer receiver as it was not 4k compatible. After comparing different models with Magnolia personnel, I decided the Denon was the way to go. I am certain I made the right choice. Totally pleased with the ease of setup too!

This denon receiver has floored me such high quality sound,I'm hearing sounds never heard before on both movies and c ds and the sepperation is unbelievable I can't stop trying everything old thru it! It was a very good purchase!

The main reason I bought this receiver is that it was the only one anywhere near the price that supported 4 ohm speakers. Right out of the box Denon wants you to use the included Audyssey sound processing system to set up your speaker configuration and sound levels based on their size and placement in the room. While this procedure works fairly well the results can be far from ideal. The good news is that this receiver is so versatile you can make it do about anything you want. The bad news is that its users manual is 275 pages and figuring out how to do what you want to do is often not easy and there is often a lot of interaction between changes including with your TV and/or cable box. Unfortunately if you need help from Denon you may be on the phone a long time. I once spent 45 minutes waiting and the worst part is an annoying short music loop. That was the longest wait and my other 3 calls were between 8 and 12 minutes. 3 ouf 4 of the support staff were knowledgeable and helpful while the other was not. Overall I'm happy with the receiver and the only thing preventing 5 stars is the complexity and support issues.

I upgraded from my Yamaha 526 to this Denon and it has made a huge difference in sound. More wattage and the sound calibration has made a huge difference. Next, I'm gonna upgrade my center channel speaker for clearer sound.

I had to replace a malfunctioning Pioneer Receiver and the Denon was recommended. I am very satisfied with the receiver and the ease of use. This receiver is more user friendly than any other I have owned.

This is an excellent receiver. Super easy to set up and the sound quality is amazing! This is my second Denon receiver in my house now. My neighbors probably hate me now. If it's too loud, you're too old!!

Been enjoin the denon 1225w 7.2 ch receiver great sound recommended to anyone who is looking for one.has almost the same feature as a more expensive receiver

Didn't want to spend to much. Read a lot of reviews and listened to all in the price point. To me this was the best sounding with the functions I wanted.

This unit is one of the better ones I have owned. It has some great features and makes using my other components easy to use.

I always prefer either Denon or Marantz (same company). This one does not disappoint, especially for price, as I snatched it of $430 for the Holidays.

This AVR has absolutely excellent audio and video quality. The only negative regards an odd programming limitation for the 2nd zone content.... It does not allow any/all audio that is selected for zone 1, to also be selected for zone 2... example, if tv audio is selected for zone 1, that cannot be selected for zone 2. Other than that, every critical audio and video performance metric is great.... superb resolution, ultra low distortion, great internet connectivity, super easy Bluetooth pairing. The open, natural sound is dramatically better than several other name brands we have used recently.

This model is very easy to setup! Quality construction and it's ease of use are surpassed by caliber of experience produced by the Denon 1225W.

Great unit and was a huge upgrade for me. The HDMI ports are great input option. Also love the built in WiFi music options including XM

I changed my mind and decided to upgrade to this Denon receiver after looking at online reviews. Glad I did....and at a better price.
