Overall decent product. I got this after a thunderstorm knocked out my Pioneer Elite. Sound quality is clear but not as deep or rich as Pioneer, but I didn’t want to spend a lot of money replacing my Pioneer. The setup was extremely easy though and the online app works very well too.

Out of the box setup very straight forward and was very easy to get it going. Sounds are great! However, today using bluetooth connection to play music from phone and the system protection went into effect shutting down the receiver with the high temperature blink pattern and the receiver was very hot. This receiver is sitting on TOP of the cabinet for now until everything is hooked up so the enclosure cannot be the reason for the overheating condition. What is going to happen when we actually put it in the cabinet? Going to see if it happens again and if so will contact Denon customer support and if that does not work will be returning it to try a different one.

I am a contractor and have purchased many Denon AVRs for my clients. In the end they are happy with the functions provided and the ease in which the functions can be accessed. A very reliable product at a reasonable price. I even purchased one for myself.

Does what I want and setup was easy. Only issue I have was with the HDMI/ARC connection. When I turn the TV on the stereo sets input to direct/TV and I have to switch it back to cable/sat input each time. But this is an issue it seems with all bands of receivers.

I recently upgraded to this to take advantage of my 4K TV and XBOX One X gaming system. What a difference. Everything is crisper and sounds a lot better than my old Pioneer VSX 1020. The only thing I'm not in love with is the App for this receiver.

This had great sound, was easy to set up, had a decent app for controls, and looked good. The app didn't have as features as my previous receiver which I felt left me on the short end of the stick when it came to customize the sound I wanted.

Bought this Denon on special, and don't regret it! Passes all my 4K devices with no problem and has been an ease to use. Build my own surround sound with different manufactured speakers, and has been sounding great.

This was an early Christmas gift for our son. He has only had it a few weeks, but working well so far. He said it is easy to use and sounds great with his new speakers!

Great receiver as far as sound and ease of set-up. Volume range is a little to be desired. Have to increase or decrease volume huge amounts to make a difference, Overall very satisfied.

Denon really did it with this unit, easy to install and set-up, plenty of HDMI / 4K connections and forget about the sound.

Upgrade from discontinued Yamaha AVR, which was a total beast. Hesitant with the upgrade, until I heard the quality of sound...thoroughly impressed in addition to the ease of use.

This receiver replaced an old Denon and the difference is night and day. The sound is cleaner and more detailed than before. The setup was very easy and user friendly.

This receiver replaced a 17 year old Denon receiver that had run out of gas(power) . This one almost gave me all the inputs for my older gear, as well as some more for the newer gear. My cassette deck can now only play back & not record unless I change the connection. Really, my only beef is the learning curve required to utilize all these features. It's aimed for somewhere less than my 68 years . Especially tempting was the price,it was a floor model, and at 250 dollars it was a steal. Sound wise it delivers & is just right for my livingroom system . This is so close to deserving a fifth star.

So far so good. It’s been very easy to use. I’m still figuring some stuff out but it has given great sound inside and out.

The Denon unit was just what the doctor ordered for hooking up our entire house with built in speakers and our 75 inch LG TV. Great sound and easy to use.

This replaced my Sony DN-1080 which was having issues when switching inputs. It would default to the home screen while trying to change inputs. Sony did not have a solution for this and it is a wide spread issue. The Denon solved this issue and has everything you need to run 4K HDR and easy setup. Works flawless so for after a month. Will always by Denon over Sony from now on.

I do like how it connects to Alexa, anything bluetooth compatible. The only thing I cannot figure out is how to connect it to our internet. Keep putting in the password and it says it is wrong. It still connects to Alexa, but through the bluetooth and not the same network. So, the only down fall is when you say play music everywhere when it is connected to the home theater it won't play anywhere else in the house. But other than that it is great, and come to find out there is only one thing we need to connect for it to play music everywhere.

The surround sound setup is very easy (user friendly). The sound quality is great and the remote feature on you smart phone is awesome.

Very easy to set up; what I needed when I upgraded to a 4k projector. Several options for connections, and internet-ready, with great sound.
