    My first Denon. Needed to get a new one with 4k, got this on sale. So far so good. I like the bluetooth for the music. Works with my android phone

    This unit replaced another Denon without the 4K and Dolby Atmos features. Easy to install. Back of the receiver is well laid out and all HDMI access is easy. Speaker balance worked without an issue, although the software could be improved. Offers many features usually only found on more expensive units. Remote is much more compressed and simplified over my older Denon. Works well with my Sony 4K TV

    My previous a/v was a Denon AVR-S700. After a year or so, the display went out. After that i was losing hdmi input ports at about 1 per 3 months. After i was finally down to the last one I bought this AVR-740. So far it is running flawlessly. Because of what happened to the last one I bought the 4 year replacement plan this time around. Setup was easy, sound is great through my definitive technology promonitor 1000,2000 with klipsche 450w 12 sub. Sound amazing.

    This is one of the best receivers I have ever bough at a fraction of the price. I have spent 3 times more money to do the same exact thing. It has an on screen menu to help you set it up. It `s all interactive prompt that walks you through the set up. In past I needed Geek squad to set it up as it was way to complicated.I recommend this unit to everyone.
