Purchased this receiver as a suggestion from a friend after my Sony stopped working. Still in the testing of what it can do but so far I like it a lot. More to come as I get further into using it.

We use this tuner for out living room. It works perfectly for the surround sound, blu ray player, roku, chromecast and bideo games.

Great value for the price. Denon delivers plenty of power with no need for a sub-woofer, but Bluetooth range is limited. Use home wifi.

I was looking to replace my old HK AVR to something with HDMI and wifi connections and this receiver checked all of the boxes. This AVR had mostly positive reviews so I thought I'd give it a try. After getting everything connected and updated the first thing that I noticed was that when listening to music it didn't sound quite right and wasn't nearly as clear and dynamic as my old AVR no matter what I tried. Movies on the other hand sounded clear and the surround worked just fine. The biggest red flags after the poor music quality was the fact the the front display went blank showing no data until restarting the unit. This happened twice in the 3 days that I had it hooked up. Another issue I had was the AVR froze and the video colors went out of whack after connecting a pair of BT headphone. I've been a longtime fan of Denon receivers but this model was nothing but disappointing and was promptly returned.

Works as expected. Easy set up. still figuring out it's potential.
