Disappointing and glitchy

This AVR had mostly positive reviews so I thought I'd give it a try. After getting everything connected and updated the first thing that I noticed was that when listening to music it didn't sound quite right and wasn't nearly as clear and dynamic as my old AVR no matter what I tried. Movies on the other hand sounded clear and the surround worked just fine. The biggest red flags after the poor music quality was the fact the the front display went blank showing no data until restarting the unit. This happened twice in the 3 days that I had it hooked up. Another issue I had was the AVR froze and the video colors went out of whack after connecting a pair of BT headphone. I've been a longtime fan of Denon receivers but this model was nothing but disappointing and was promptly returned.

If you don 't want to spend a lot or don't have a large budget, but like your music and home theater experience to be above "entry level" this is the the "entry level" receiver that exceeds the "entry level" price point expectations!
