I'm a big fan of Denon. This receiver is so easy to install and set up. The setup menu steps you through each phase quickly and lets you remove steps that do not apply to your configuration. The HEOS feature works great. I can start playing music from anywhere in my house. The speaker setup is easy to use. Just be prepared for the sound it makes while testing each speaker.

Dolby atmos virtualization with a 2.1 tower setup (Kef Q) is pretty amazing. Audessy setup was a breeze. The only feature I miss is bi-amp feature my last pioneer receiver had. Sound on my pioneer was great, but was missing 4k and HDR pass-through that this Denon. Connection to a Lg TV via Hdmi with a ps4, switch, CD changer and FireTV cube allows volume control of receiver from the FireTV cube remote or the tv remote.

Great overall receiver. Upgraded from Denon receiver I purchased 10 years ago. Wanted to take advantage of 4K passthru and arc hdmi ports to go with new Sony tv. Has good power and versatility with WiFi, HEOS, and Bluetooth. Pretty happy so far.

the best receiver for the price, upgraded from the S650H and the difference is huge!! this is much better and easier to use and the sound quality is amazing!, both much better than the Yamaha! The best part of this line of receiver is the HEOS app! you can literally stream from anything and anywhere in your home!

Denon is one of the best brands in home theater. This model is a premium brand at an entry level affordable price. It offers dolby atmos sound, 7 channels and streaming app options. Very simple to setup and operate. Quality build and sturdy remote control. Very user friendly. This is my third Denon receiver in my lifetime. So worth the money.

My review is a bit skewed, as I purchased this for my home audio setup - primarily to play music. I had not intended it for an AV/home theater arrangement. This made the initial activation and adjustment of the unit difficult - as the primary setup can only be performed via HDMI hookup to a TV/monitor. So, having already connected all my speakers, inputs, etc to the receiver, I had to disconnect and bring the unit into my great room where I have my television. Once setup was complete, however, the unit was re-connected successfully and works beautifully. The sound through my current Bose multichannel/subwoofer speakers is remarkably better than via the old receiver I'd used. The unit connects easily to my WiFi and can be controlled via iPhone app from anywhere in the house. VERY happy with this purchase.

East set-up and good sound. Can receive and transmit Bluetooth for wireless headphones, which is a plus as a lot of receivers just receive Bluetooth. 4/5 because the remote control was not programmable and can't control any device other than the receiver. I had to but a Harmony to work with this receiver.

Excellent product and sound quality. Denon did not disappoint. multizone is awesome. Music on patio while kids watch movies on a surround sound. Superb quality and ease of use. Syncs with smart TV with ARC very reliably and syncs with power on/off from tv remote. HEOS app is very convenient too.

This radio has just about every feature you could need. I purchased it because i wanted to futureproof a little, but really only needed 2.1 output for my vintage klipsh heresy ii and newer powered subwoofer. I mostly use it for bluetooth, but the sound quality is wonderful when driven with a direct audio source like a record or even a tape deck

Setup was not as easy as stated. Went online to get the digital owners manual, and its over 200 pages long. Once I got it set up, worked fine for 30 mins then I got no sound from ARC setup. Had to reset the receiver and redo all setting again. The on menu GUI is a bit outdated compared to some. Nice punch once setup properly (which takes a bit of work and research to get right). Remote is HUGE compared to some others, also would have been nice if the remote was backlit. Overall so far its a pretty solid receiver.

Recently purchased an LG 65" OLED 4K TV and realized that my reliable Yamaha receivers was not going to be up to the task of passing through a 4K signal, so had to upgrade. Wanted to stick with Yamaha receivers as they've served me well over the years, but wasn't finding what I wanted at a good price. Found this Denon on sale at Best Buy for a great price and it met all the specs that I needed. Sound quality is great and it works with all my equipment (blu-ray player, Xbox One, Roku Ultra) Was having an issue with Roku Ultra and 4K HDR content with my LG TV complaining about no signal, but that turned out to be a cabling issue. If you want to pass through 4K HDR content at 60Hz, make sure you have cables that are up to the task. I'm running an optical HDMI cable between the receiver and the TV because it's running more than 10 feet. However the problem was the cable between the Roku and the receiver. Once I got myself a quality cable certified for 4K 60Hz I haven't had any problems. Only complaint is regarding the Denon iPhone app. Not as good as the Yamaha app I used to use and I really wish you could use the app to configure the receiver settings instead of having to view the settings on the TV.

    Denon AVR-S750H

I was replacing a Denon AVR-4802 that was 17 years old and would still rattle the windows, but was lacking the newer connections and was having some issues with the optical inputs. The AVR-S750H doesn't have the output power of my old receiver and is considerably lighter and cost less than my old unit, but so far I have been extremely pleased with the results. It has connected with all of my devices and I am running everything through it to my TV with no issues. The automated setup for the surround was easy, and the sound has been awesome. I'm sure more expensive units could drive more power, but this is really more than I need at this point in life, my wife and kids won't let me listen to it but so loud anyhow.

The Denon AVR-S750H Receiver not only looks good, but provides great sound for my Home Theater and for Music. The speaker connections for left-right are in a straight line instead of the typical top-bottom set up. This makes connecting speaker wire very easy. Set up was simple. This is an excellent receiver and for the price an excellent value.

Super easy to set all connections and features. While on screen menus may not be as visually appealing as others, they are certainly thorough and easy to use. Everything worked and sounded as expected. This is my third Denon AV receiver and this one is as good as the others but easier to use especially the set up and menus.

I love this receiver. All you need is one HDMI wire from the TV to the HMDI Input (ARC) in the back of the receiver and connect some speaker and you are good to go. I love the way it is Bluetooth capable and how it adjust its self to give you the best sound for movies, music, gaming, etc. Awesome for my man cave!

This receiver is great for the price. I wish it covered the 120hz for gaming, but you gotta spend a bit more to get that. Setup was easy, but the audible mic was kinda useless. I still needed to set up each speaker manually. Overall I’m pleased with the purchase and would recommend this one to folks looking for a mid-tier receiver.

I use this receiver very often on my audio jobs. This unit had been very reliable, plenty of features, and great sound. Very easy GUI to navigate setup and easy to operate. It’s very common to use this receiver for a 5.1 surround system in a family room and a second zone either on the patio or in a master bedroom.

Every feature in this AVR just works perfectly. Audio quality is slightly less than that of higher models like the Denon x2700H etc. (a noticeable difference) But that is expected at this price point. If you're putting together a budget system, this is the perfect candidate and those who haven't had a more expensive system won't notice the difference and will be perfectly happy with this unit (we downgraded to this unit after purchasing a defective Denon x2700H that had a bad HDMI port out of the box and noticed a slight audio quality reduction). We're running a Klipsche 5.1 reference system with Klipsche 8" wireless subwoofer and this unit is more than enough power.
