Purchased specifically for use with our new LG OLED television. This Denon receiver has all the bells-and-whistles needed to provide our home theater with wonderful sound and video. Also had a great price.

Returned an onkyo reciever due to issues with hdmi switching. Exchanged for the Denon which has great sound and much better interface for menus and setup guide with better auto sound eq calibration. Smooth tones for eq vs loud as heck static for onkyo calibration. Sounds realistic and natural not modified va original song.

Sounds fantastic. Easy to use, nice on screen set up. I bought this for the multiple 8k/120hz inputs. PS5 and Xbox here we come!

Paired with Martin Logan fronts, Infijity Beta 3 center, B & W sub and 4 Polk T-15 for front high and surround, 75" LG OLED - Even in a big space whether spinning vinyl, streaming music or watching movies, impressive sound.

Big upgrade from the Onkyo I was using. Has my onkyo for several years. The sound quality is very noticeable.

My Onkyo TX-NR626 receiver unfortunately lost the 2 front main channels, so shoped and found this nice Denon for an average price. I heard Denon's positive reputation so I thought I'd upgrade. I've been absolutely disappointed with the sound quality. The sound is flat and just not as good as the Onkyo. There is no basic option to adjust bass / treble, the Audysee configuration seems to override any sound adjustments. I tried manual speaker configuration just isn't good. The dynamic volume is frustrating and just cant get much out of the center channel, even using the dialog enhancer and channel level adjust. More frustrating was pairing this with my Samsung QN65Q60CD and Roku Ultra, seems to have issues with video playback with YouTube TV using using eARC configuration. After a full week with various sound testing with YouTube TV, Blu-ray, streaming channels, the sound in not good. Unfortunately, it's been returned. My quest continues.

This receiver is outstanding. It was very easy to set up and configure with my surround sound system and my fire cube. It works perfectly and provides the great sounds for multiple types of shows and movies on my television.

The quality, sound , and features exceeded my expectations. If I had to find something negative about it I would say that maybe a little more info in the quick setup guide that comes with it , pertaining to connecting to existing TV might have helped. But not a big deal!

We were pushed to updating our receiver so our new Smart TV would be compatible, as well as, so the sound/speaking would better synch with the TV. Well, it doesn’t! Expensive salesman pitch.

The receiver worked for only about a month before it started having major video pass through problems. But even that wasn't the only issue. About every 2–3 days, it just stops sending a video signal to the TV. It requires unplugging the power cord for a couple minutes and then replugging it in to resolve the issue, only for it to happen again a couple days later. Tried new HDMI cables (both the old and new cables were certified 2.1 high speed cables), and that didn't resolve the issue either. The receiver's own menus also start to lag and eventually crash as well (completely locks up). Also requiring unplugging the power cord to "fix". This specific issue has occurred twice now. I've been using Denon receivers for 25 years, this the forth one that I've had (upgrades over the years), and this is the first one to give me any problems at all.

Hello. Sorry to learn of this inconvenience. As not all Ultra High Speed HDMI cables are made the same, and with all the capabilities of current HDMI technology, we recommend Audioquest, as their HDMI cables have yet to let us down. If you already have Ultra High Speed Audioquest HDMI cables, it sounds as though some trouble-shooting is required. Best Buy's customer Support Team are on hand to assist with trouble-shooting. I've been rocking this for about 3 months now. The first 2 months after setting it up, I could go into the menu and it would be super, super slow. Then I would exit the menu and re-enter it and none of my settings would have saved. I kept putting up with it until finally it stopped letting me adjust the volume. It was all the way up or all the way down. No beuno. So I had to do a factory reset. Since then, it seems to be working significantly better. The menu is responsive and things save when I change them. The volume control works now too. The unfortunate part is I had to ALL of the setup again. That was 2 hours wasted. For the cost of these things, they should really work much better than they do.
