It has a different sound to it which made my music sound also wonderful. I ended up with the Denon x4800h for more power. The extra 20 watts made a big difference in sound and much clearer.

This device is great for recognizing the best potential or of your existing high end speakers and the fundamentals of your brand tv. I would buy again! Easy setup and walk through. I have owned Sony and Pioneer Elite high end receivers in the past and this offers the biggest bang for the buck with the latest technology available!

Amp unit runs strong so volume output is very noticeable. Bass is punchy and drives 8-inch woofers well. However front part of chassis gets hot on top vent of unit. This denon replaced yamaha A6A i returned due to sound output issues.

Very happy with my 2nd Denon

My 2nd Denon and they are built well and easy to set up. Needed 9.2 for my theater and this solved all my issues. Been very happy with this purchase and overall sound quality has seen a big bump up with more wattage per channel.

Set up was very straightforward and the sound quality is excellent. Only time will telll how it will hold up but so far so good.

Currently running a 7.3 setup and the power output, frequency controls, and features of this receiver are truly a bargain at its price.

Hooked up 8/10 speakers that were already installed by previous owners and the receiver picked them up very nicely and experience is fantastic. setup was very easy and quick.

With its HDMI link functionality, one remote can control the receiver, an attached TV/projector and streaming device, (Apple TV etc). Does its job of passing 4K signal well.

Being able to power my 9 speakers and have 4 independent subs is incredible. This unit was very easy to setup and I have enjoyed the Denon Iphone app. Next step will be to add an amp for 11.4!

Although they had to come out twice to figure out the issue Best Buy was able to install and make my surround sound work perfectly. This receiver is amazing once set up. I feel like I’m at the movies.
