This is the 6th Denon receiver I've owned and it doesn't disappoint once it's setup properly. I did have to exchange it due to the sw2 output not working but everything works flawlessly now and it sounds amazing. I wish it was a little taller....it's about 1.5 inches shorter than the denon it's replacing which doesn't affect the performance but visually bigger is better in my opinion.

This integrated receiver is top shelf. since having it installed , i hear a noticeable difference in sound quality. this was integrated into my preexisting smart home system with savant. i have also used the blue tooth wireless to deliver music to a wireless speaker on my patio. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. my only regret is that i didn't get this sooner.

I thought this was a very good receiver sounded great. I was talk to the new, returning it to get more features in the new receivers ended up going with the Marantz Cinema 40. Also sounds very good.

This has been my best receiver yet. It sounds great in Dolby Atmos 11.1 with height speakers. I used to always have HK receivers in the past. Definitely recommend the AVR-6700H

Upgraded from the X4500h. Very happy with it so far it has improved picture quality on my oled tv and can hear a improvement in the over sound and sound field with atmos.

Denon goofed up the chipsets for 8k/60hz, which is the only reason it's not 5 stars but overall the quality is amazing for movies and music. Paired with my 7.2.4 Klipsch speakers makes movies sound perfect. Also recommend calibration with the Auyssey app on mobile phone or ipad to really dial in the sound for your room.

Excellent upgrade option given by Best Buy. The sound is more than what I expected. I haven’t set up the atmos yet but I will be very soon. I am extremely happy with this purchase. Best Buy definitely redeemed themselves by sorting me out. Thank you.

Expensive! Can not understate it but boy it is fantastic. Upgraded my receiver but kept all existing speakers and WOW.

This AVR a great machine, I think. But, I had to return it as the Geek Squad could not hook it up! They always send young 20 something’s who really don’t want to do the work. There is one gentle, who I requested on several occasions, who is excellent in his job. But, requesting, and being promised he would show up, does not mean anything. They have switched him out on me 3 times sending incompetent people, that just flat do not want to work hard. Get someone else to install your products!

Upgrade from AVR4200. Great improvement in Video and sound. The unit also runs cooler.

Nice sound. The wired AVR 6700 pairs wireless with denon 250 and 350 on the Heos app but not with Spotify music.

Works amazing. Total tech got it dialed in and it pumps the music now with lots of room to run. Great purchase.

Excellent receiver. Runs a couple of Def Tech BP9080X towers and CS9080 center channel. Have a 13 channel speaker setup and it runs everything with great sound.

Maybe a little soon to review, however, I already notice dialog is much easier to hear and attack (plucked strings, drums, etc.) is a bit more pronounced . Upgraded from a AVR-X3600H, so not a whole lot of difference, but still some advanced features I am enjoying! Bit of an issue getting it setup with my speakers, however, it finally came together.

One of the best receivers you can buy with 8K. A cheaper version or the Marantz SR8015 minus some of the inputs. Future proof for sure.

Really great build and lots of power to push almost any speaker. Couldn’t decide to go with the new 3800 or 6700. Eventually decided to stick with 6700 and not looking back!

Just the receiver I've been looking for. I'm a loyal customer to Denon and Marantz. I have an older Marantz but wasn't getting the power I need to push my Klipsch speakers. You also cannot go wrong with the 8k conversion especially if you have a PS5 like myself. Highly recommend.

So far this receiver has been great. Has a lot of configuration options, and you really need to know how it works to properly set it up. Watch some Youtube videos and you should be fine.
