Denon AVR6700H has all the latest capabilities. It includes HEOS media streaming, HDMI 2.1, 4k/120 or 8k/60 future proofing your media setup. The downside is that it only has on HDMI 8k capable port.

Excellent receiver that delivers performance. The Odyssey feature is unbelievable. There’s several features and the setup can be a little overwhelming but once it is setup it’s awesome.

Recommend for anyone with multiple video devices such as; PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, WII U, Mac mini, and 4k cable box. especially on an 8k tv. If you have enough space on your room, I would recommend a 9.2 surround sound setup that would consist of the front left and right speaker, a center, 2 wide front speakers, 2 surrounds, 2 rear surrounds and 2 subwoofers.

This is an item that I returned when I discovered that best buy had priced it way above what it was worth. I originally got this as a demo unit with nothing more than a power cord and remote. When looking for the rest of the normally included accessories, I discovered that i would buy a new unit in a box from Amazon for less than what Best Buy charged for the demo unit. Obviously, I returned it the next day. The unit I purchased from Amazon has been amazing.

Had a Denon 3808 set to 3.2.4 and just could not hear dialog no matter what I did. Went with the 6700 in 5.2.4 with a zone 2 on back porch. Dialog is crystal clear! Atmos is awesome also!!

Upgraded to get 7.2.4 as my AVR-X4300 could only do 7.2.2 or 5.2.4 and it was like my system just woke up. I would have made this move way sooner if I know it would be this much better.

The receiver was not working properly. The time frame for the install was not sufficient. The technician brought the receiver back and ordered a new one. We have been rescheduled with the appropriate time. The reason I am giving this review one star is for the dates. We waited weeks for the first appointment, only to have the receiver messed up. I had disconnected the whole system prior to the tech showing up. We should have been put on a fast track to have the new receiver installed but once again we had to wait for many weeks to get the geek squad here to install the new receiver. The tech that showed up the first time was great but ill informed about the job. He deserves 5 stars for his effort.

This receiver is top notch - it has exceeded my expectations ... looking for a top of line receiver, you can't go wrong with this one!

Awesome receiver, I had Geek squad help with set up and it went very smooth. "Sound Stage" is fantastic, I am using 11.1 set up.

Denon is an awesome receiver, top notch in every category!!!

Still haven't learned how to completely use it. So far so good.
