This unit is better than I expected, As I looked around for a home bluetooth speaker, I wanted to make sure it had wifi, bluetooth, USB and a 3.5. The app is very easy to use and informative. This unit will even play music from my NAS movie storage server( this feature exceeded my expectations) Denon did a great job on the speaker and the app. I will buy another to pair together using wifi so I can have the same music up stairs and down stairs.

In the few days I've had this speaker I've been amazed at the sound quality from every source I've tried. I've listened to streaming music at whatever their quality level is, from low to High Res. I have a library of MP3 at 320 KBPS, another in a lossless format (850-1100 KBPS), some High Res recordings off of my sound board and some downloaded High Res music. Whatever the device, sample/bit rates and volume level, this speaker shines with crisp clear highs, amazing low end resonance and great mids. I set the volume to a range of 85-100 db and hear no distortion at all. The quick setup guide got me up and going quickly. Like most these days, the included manual is very basic and you must visit the website to explore many of the features. The app works well and was a breeze to set up. I have found that when using the Aux Input, system and alert noises on my phone stop the music and force you to start the music over. This has happened even when the Aux Input is plugged in to a voice controlled device and has no phone connection. I haven't figured this out yet. Most of the small speakers I have I use only because they are small and portable. I take them to the lake, the back yard and the like but I never considered using them in in my den where I have a great home theater system. This speaker fills my large den with great sound that seems like it could not possibly come from such a small speaker. While the sound has been great from all sources, the High Resolution music is amazing through this speaker.

This speaker is everything you would expect from Denon. The HEOS app is amazing how you can run many speakers together or independently however you choose. Integrated my Spotify seamlessly and with Airplay it’s super easy. I am a bit disappointed in the bass compared to other speakers the same size but the overall clarity of the sound is great. Sounds much better with more than one and other HEOS speakers connected. No bridges, no amps, just plug in and it connects. HEOS is an awesome system.

Quality looking speakers with a great sound and lots of flexibility to set it up by using the HEOS app. The on speaker controls are helpful and some can be customized. Pairing them up with the Apple ecosystem was easy. They cost a little bit more but you’re getting what you’ve paid for. Recommended.

I love Denon sound systems and speakers but this one really lacked the punch I was looking for. It had very crisp highs but lacked the bass I love. I really wish Alexa was integrated but no biggie. The app has great functionality for music apps in one place. All in all Denon did a good job. Will get one more for office.

A disaster - ordered it in store. Paid for it. NEVER heard a word. No speaker. Tried to call/get info. No answer. After waiting weeks. Cancelled. Never again.
