This receiver was easy to set up and integrates beautifully with my home theater system. It handles 4K and 3D pass thru. It is also very attractive in the rack.

Does everything I wanted it to do. Setup was painless and makes my tv look great. I have always had good luck with Denon products. 4k is beautiful

Was a great price and meets all my needs. It has plenty of power and channels for all my speakers. It is also able to handle the atmos speakers!

The only receiver you need! 4K, gaming, theater surround sound, etc! out performers all others in its class! Works great with the new Xbox One S!

This receiver replaces an older Denon and I love it. Setup was easy and the audio is awesome. I'm very happy with this receiver.

So far, I've noticed a much simpler GUI in the menu's. I've owned a lot of Onkyo's, and their system is much more complex. However Onkyo seems to offer more options. Now whether that's a deal breaker is your call. As far as performance, I am on my first Audessy setup. After another week I will do a 2nd which will be the more accurate after break in of my new B&W's. However, the sound is clean and crisp and awesome as it sits right now.

Set up as a 7.2 home theater system with a separate zone for 2nd TV with sound bar. I have 4 separate HDMI inputs running. Install was pretty straightforward and the onscreen assist worked well. Probably not using the system to full capacity, but it is working very well as set up currently. Clean sound and can get very loud when needed.

Love this receiver, has a lot of power and great sound.

This unit replaced a 5.1 channel surround system I bought from Denon 20+ years ago (that was still working great, but was pre-HDMI). I was delighted with the new on screen set-up instructions, which made installation a snap. Sound quality is still up to the same Denon high standard.

We have only had the Denon receiver for a few months. My boyfriend is the one who wanted the upgraded receiver. He did all the research and installation. It seemed easy to install and set-up. We have a 5.5 speaker surround sound with higher quality Klipsch speakers. We had to buy better quality speaker wires/cables to get the best clarity of sound. This is very much my boyfriends "thing" but I must say it has been pretty easy to learn to use for those non techie girlfriends.

At this point in time this receiver can be had for $800 which is a steal considering it's features and it's quality. This can do a full 7.2.4 Atmos setup with a separate stereo amp. The setup was simple and the performance is solid.

I got a older Denon receiver and wanted to update to a newer one, this one seems to be great for my needs. I will never use most of this receivers capabilities.But for my home theater needs this one is perfect, Denon makes great equipment.

As my review states I definitely scored on this purchase. I had actually been in the market for a quality receiver to get a good surround system in place. I had previously looked up some quality systems and this one had all the features I needed. You can look at the specs here and online and see this system is highly rated. The only thing that made me hold off was the price tag but caught it on the deal of the day. Bingo! Ordered it immediately. This unit can easily push better speakers and subs than I have. Currently running a 7.1 with plans on working on a zone 2 setup. Besides the fact I have everything hooked up and the system the upscaling in 4k is great.I still need to really break it in but its lived up to everything I imagined.

If you're looking for a really great Atmos receiver for your home theater, this is it. The app controllable function is a plus and the multi-zone controllability is great. Very happy with this purchase.

So far so good. Still fairly new, but works great so far. Audio sounds great but can't give full accurate review until I have time to tinker with all of the settings. No hiccups!! Very happy.

Though Denon has expected level of complexity to someone accustomed to older receivers, I'm learning. Sound is great and very clear with good bass underpinning. It's a keeper!

Hooks up easily, excellent 4k pass thru, sound is crystal clear, amp pushes hard! got it while it was on sale for $1299 plus a free HEOs speaker ($200)!

A little pricey but we'll worth the cost considering all this has to offer. Lots of power which is very important driving high end speakers.

Just like my title says this is a great receiver by Denon. It’s the cousin to the Marantz. Typical Denon build and sound quality.
