took back 2 days after i bought it the avr 1912 i already own was soooo much better

Got a great open box deal on this receiver so i decided to pick it up for my father in law. I consequently picked up the X1200 a few months back on another open box deal. The only feature this receiver lacks is the ability to play two different audio sources in two different rooms simultaneously. This receiver still works great for any home theatre.

I would definately recommend theses products, because they are really great and work well. Best electronic purchase this year.

Would not recomend. First unit LCD display failed. Unit replaced by Best Buy. Second unit HDMI connections are failing one by one. Down to last HDMI connection.

Very simple to setup. Channel with best sound seems to always be automatically selected. Strong sound

I have been very pleased with my Denon Hone Theater Reciever.

The receiver would, for no apparent reason, stop accepting the TV signal. I called Denon customer service on several occasions, and I would get advice that would be contradicted by other Denon reps. I was then told that I would have to bring it to a Denon repair center. I had only owned it for less than a month. Not happy. I returned it.

Front display is out and must be sent out of State.

This receiver broke down within weeks of buying it. I thought it may have been due to lightning during a recent storm because it wouldn't even power on. Best Buy sent it out and determined it was actually a part that needed to be replaced, That part was on back order from Denon and the expected date kept moving back. After about 8 weeks of having no receiver to operate the other $4,000 of equipment I bought from Best Buy. for that room, Best Buy did step up and offered to swap out for a new Denon, I had no interest in another one, so I just took the refund. For an extra $100, I bought a Yamaha from Best Buy. Couldn't be happier with that brand and model.

Denon takes the tv signal from cable and degrades the quality of the TV picture. Sound quality is only OK. Not the full rich sound I was expecting. Now, I have so-so sound and degraded picture quality.

Overall, this an excellent device for a small Home Theater / Media Center setup.

I tried this receiver for a month and it put out inadequate sound and couldn't meet my expectations. I was constantly adjusting the parameters for TV, blue ray, and music sounds. I finally gave up, got a full refund, and bought a different brand receiver. Info could I wouldn't give it any stars.

Does everything I need it to do. Only complaint is the remote control. I have to point the remote right to the receiver for it to work.

The sound quality is great when it works. The Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and AirPlay hardly work. This is my second unit and I will be taking it back tomorrow because the HDMI inputs stop displaying the video put into them. It can still display it's menus though.

I am enjoying the receiver especially the wireless feature!

This receive works well with Bose Speakers and DVD player.

The 1100 is a good receiver, I believe it is the entry level to their class D amp line. Features are nice, could stand a bit more power
