The features and controls are set for easy on screen help. LOTS of options for volume Features ALL the latest Dolby including ATMOS and X. I paired it with the LG OLED TV and picture quality and sound are well WOW!!!

Pros: I upgraded from Sony STR 1070 to Denon's AVR-X3500 which was missing Dolby Vision pass through and Dolby Atmos. In terms of sounds the Sony's is a bit more thunderous than Denon, but Denon has better rear channel separation and the ambient noise sounds a bit more natural. Cons: Price, not worth $1000, luckily I got a price match for half that which is exactly where the X3500 should be priced. Now if you don't care about Dolby Atmos or Vision and Sony's are priced similar or cheaper go with Sony as the differences in sound is minor not accounting for features.

I converted from a Denin of 10 years ago. Great enhancement to sound and picture quality. You must download the 200 + manual to understand how to set it up and have a lot of patience to test. It is worth it.

This unit is a workhorse and comes with all the inputs and features one would need for a premium home theater setup. This unit houses a lot of power and has great upscaling for non 4K sources.

Ran my LG 65in. Oled c8 through this Denon A/V Receiver using Audio Quest hdmi cables and the sound was unbelievable.I thought I was sitting in a movie theater .Dolby Atmos with surround sound is amazing.And all from watching a movie on HBO and 20yr old Mitsubishi speakers.Can't wait to upgrade speakers and connect my4k blu ray player.

Had to replace my older Denon that worked great but did not have 4K features when 4K LG OLED was purchased. Had to update entire 7.1 system. One thing leads to another.

The Denon-IN-Command Series provided us with excellent theater sound quality. It's versatility worked very well with our other existing components.

Haven't been able to fully take advantage of what this receiver offers(2 zones), but its got everything that I should need in the future (hdr, 4k, 9 channels, internet radio). Just need to upgrade my speakers now!
