Amazing sound quality for music and movies. Denon really made this soundbar simulated a true surround system. The power that comes from under 200w is astonishing. Anyone who is in the market for a soundbar needs to test this one out. The subwoofer has a volume control with a wide range. It has all of the features that anyone would want: wireless sub, Bluetooth connectivity, Hdmi pass through. I have been researching soundbars for 6 months and the Denon blows away all the competition under $1000.

I did extensive research on soundbars under $800. I sampled various soundbars at different stores, not just best buy. There were not very many online reviews on the Denon, but the overall consensus was that it was a very good system. I also have an Energy Bar Elite soundbar for another tv, so that was my comparison. The Energy unit has better bass and a "3D" mode that does make a difference in sound quality when I listen to it. The Denon unit has more listening modes, and also receives bluetooth signals. The remote is slightly better than the Energy's; both are small but the Denon has a better feel to it. While a soundbar will not replace a 5.1 system, the Denon has a very good sound, and I have not discerned any distortion at higher volumes. The IR pass through on the Denon does not seem to work, regardless of where I place it, which is a shame, because that was one of the features that drew me to the Denon. However, it is not enough of an issue to make me return it, as overall this is a very good unit. I did purchase a protection plan should something go wrong.

The sound out of this thing is fantastic, but I am docking two stars: -1 For the sound not getting as loud as I would like, even in a 10x10' bedroom. -1 For the optical audio port making the speakers hum (think of a dog whistle) at a very high frequency. It doesn't squeal over HDMI.

The Denon sound bar is super easy to setup. Easy to hook up devices with Bluetooth. Sound quality is very good. Slightly pricey but worth it.

We usually use Bose products for sound, and we have 3 Bose sound bars in the bedrooms. I took a chance on the Denon and it has not disappointed. It is clear, robust and not too much base. It has replaced a complete theatre system and is loved almost more for the music sound quality as we listen to music through the Bluetooth feature more than we watch television.

Easy to set up. Powerful bass. Automatically operates with cable TV remote. Demon remote is simple to use. I tried multiple units and this one was best suited for my surround sound system. The pricing was also excellent under $500.

Sound is great. Only problem is that the background sound sometimes makes it hammed to hear what's being said.

I actually bought 2 of these Denon Sound Bars with Wireless Subwoofer sets to use with my 2 TV's upstairs in my home. One is in my computer room (an LG) and the other is in my bedroom (a Samsung). Both were extremely easy to install. The Samsung TV has HDMI (ARC) connectors, so very simple to connect the supplied HDMI cable, plug in the sound bar and subwoofer and that's it. The LG TV does not have HDMI (ARC) connectors, so used the supplied optical cable provided to connect, plug in the sound bar and subwoofer and was finished. The sound is far better than what I had before using the Denon equipment. The subwoofer does enhance the low frequencies, but don't expect booming sound like what I get out of my Klipsch speakers downstairs in my living room, but enough oomph to be satisfying.

Overall good sound quality and easy to use. There are three different listening modes; however, there is only a slight variation in sound between the three. The different listening modes are noted by a different sequence of lights on the soundbar buttons. It would also be nice if there was some type of display either on the sound bar or transmitted through the TV that shows which listening mode you are in. There is also no display (on the soundbar or through the TV) showing how high or low the volume is turned up. Bluetooth is not always on. You have to toggle between TV and Bluetooth depending on what you are listening to. Overall satisfied with the sound and quality.

I really like the Soundbar! It is a great place to start if you are trying to get into the surround sound realm! It is very responsive and the bass works great as well. I will say I wish they provided better set up instructions as it was a bit more complicated than what was demonstrated. Overall it is a great system and I would/will recommend for purchase.

I bought a Sony smart Tv and the Sony surround Wireless surround system that they offered with it. I was disappointed with the Sony surround system and took it back and went on to buy this system instead and its louder and the music sounds clear way better choice.

this came recommended by a salesperson at BB. I am amazed at how it sounds, the bass is probably the best i've heard and i've own several soundbars. The bluetooth is also great. i'm sold!

Really exceptional sound from the Sound bar, crisp and clean. The bass is amazing and installation was a snap. Love the Bluetooth feature and the ability to play music from my phone.

Sound bar creates amazing sound for price. Doesn't fit great under the TV as its taller than the TV stand. Wish it could be integrated to look better. Would think they would make the shape fit the TV stand but most are now hung directly on the wall I guess

I used to have a Denon car stereo system in my conversion van. Sound was awesome especially after I added Brazil's speakers. So I expected the sound bar to be a good a good sound system to enhance my tv's sound system. I am glad I got the Denon sound bar.

Easy set up and use. Excellent sound, so much better than the TV speakers with very good base from the woofer. Sync perfect and sounds great. I have a large living room and it fills the room, very loud. Would deffinatley recommend.
