The El Mariachi movies, though not high art, are incredibly entertaining, and the first two are here presented in a great set. The first, El Mariachi, is a stripped-down, low-budget affair, but with plenty of charm. Desperado steps it up a lot, with more of Robert Rodriguez’s trademark flair and kinetic energy.

This is one of those classics that where ever in the movie you start off seeing you have to watch to the end. Both of these films are Robert Rodriguez best in my opinion.

I’ve always enjoyed Desperado, but have not yet seen El Mariachi. Excited to check that one out. Best Buy had this for a great price.

These are good movies, but not great. For the price though, it was a great addition to my movie library.

These are entertaining and worth seeing however, they are not great. Some of the acting leave you wanting and storyline in one is a little predictable - but still worth the watch if you like these types of movies

This is an excellent blu ray. El Mariachi's source is not without its flaws, and it looks it, but most imperfections can largely be attributed to the low budget nature of the film and it certainly looks better than any previous home video release. Desperado, which had a substantially bigger budget, looks splendid on blu ray. The colors are vibrant, the blacks are strong, and contrast is good. As with El Mariachi, Desperado has never looked better. Pick this up if you're a fan of these movies, you will not be disappointed.

Ordered the Blu Ray Disc for the movie El Mariachi. Desperado was an added bonus. Enjoyed watching these movies back in the day when they were originally released, and now enjoying them again in high quality BluRay. Item arrived promptly. If you haven’t seen either one of these movies, then you will surely enjoy the action and grittyness of El Mariachi just as much as you will the cleaner, more polished Desperado. Both movies for a great price.

I’m not too much of a combo pack fan, but I saw that El Mariachi wasn’t on Blu-Ray anywhere else. But it also came with Desperado. These are two great films that I would recommend at least one of these films to everybody.

I bought this movie cause my gf never heard of it and wanted to show her Puss n Boots in a different light. She was very surprised lol. Great oldie funny to say.

Excellent blu ray movies on 1 disc. Picture quality was good for the age of these films.

El Mariachi is one of the best movies ever made and to see it in high def is fun. Highly recommend these movies.
