Loved it can't wait for more. Minions are my fav. The short mini stories are great.

I have seen this movie several time but the 3D is crystal clear to the extent that I can't stop watching it! Very good movie for the kids too!!

Our family loved Despicable Me 2. It was awesome in 3D and better then the first movie.

A great sequel to a great animated film! Steve Carell continues his role as the voice of the hilarious character Gru, who had turned himself from a super villain to a loving father of the 3 girls he adopted, Margot, Edith, and Agnes, and tries to go into a business of selling jams and jellies! But he is pulled out of retirement when an agency known as the Anti-Villian League recruits Gru to help them track down a mastermind criminal who has stolen top secret data to make a serum to create chaos throughout the world. Gru is partnered with an agent from the AVL named Lucy, voiced by Kristen Wiig. The film plays out with great hilarity, with an excellent soundtrack, featuring music by Pharrell Williams and Pitbull! Although the first film was excellent, this one is definitely better!!

I loved the first movie. The script was well written - good story, good pace, and fun. The actors were good, although a few of them disguise their real life voices for the characters (Gru and Dr. Nefario for instance). We liked the first movie enough to see this movie at the theater and we were not disappointed. The script for this sequel was easily as good as the first, and the actors also delivered again. The change from bad guy to good guy for Gru was great - he makes a good dad now. We bought this blu-ray the day it was released and have seen it more than a few times. I would absolutely recommend buying this movie - its fun, not gory, and well written.

I usually watch things on Netflix, but occasionally get a Blu-Ray to supplement "must-see" movies that have not appeared or have already disappeared from Netflix. I think DM2 is a great sequel to an already great DM, and worth watching and adding to a movie collection (no movie review here... I'm a Steve Carrell fan, for full disclosure). The Blu-Ray plus electronic license is a great combo, and it's great watching a movie off disc -- no "artifacts", better overall sharpness (Netflix does a pretty great job, but there are occasional issues with bandwidth). Refreshing seeing a movie in original crisp quality!

I bought despicable me 2 for my niece since she enjoyed the first one so much. When I gave it to her, the first thing she asked, was for me to watch it with her. So I decided to. I didnt think I would enjoy the movie that much since I dont really go for animated flicks. But after watching the first 10 min, I was all in. This is such an entertaining film for all ages. Its not like a typical animated cartoon. The characters are so interesting. Especially the minions. Man are those guys funny. It also features the Pharell song, "Happy" which my niece loves.

Gru seems more like an average dad as he deals with Margo and her first love. He seems happier which makes us see his better side. The outlandish plot is very well done and the Minions are a source of continuous laughs. Even though I can't understand any of their dialogue , Its obvious their intentions are to help Gru any way they can. Lucy is a hoot and Gru altough indifferent at first is smitten and I hope to see her in a sequel. The girs are as cute as can be and help to soften Gru even more. I loved this film even more than the first.

This was an early preorder that I bought for the digital copy that I received in advance of the movies release. Just an FYI the company Best Buy uses for digital service Cinema Now has terrible service. It rarely works and the customer service is horrible, not helpful and no accountability. This makes best buy look bad IMHO. Also, lastly, this was a preorder I bought well in advance, and I didn't receive the disk shipped until after the release date when I could have simply bought it in store day of.

The Blue Ray version didn't load on my PS3, probably because of some configuration problem of my PS3. The DVD version played just fine. Suitable for kids 5+. Violent scenes are comic, but could scare very small children. Most will think it hilarious. 2 is a more feel good movie throughout the movie than 1. Lots of fun to watch with the kid. I'll bet I see it quite a few more times. Getting the lunch box as part of a promo on this was also nice. Now the kid can be a "minion" at school.

I knew I wanted to get this movie for my kids. It is much more comical and has less meanness from the protagonist than the original--the minions are still just as funny, Gru is even better, and the three girls are excellent; the addition of Gru's love interest, while not something I would have looked for, is very well done. This went on a deep sale for Black Friday, so I bought it at the perfect time. It shipped very quickly!

This is one of those rarities, an animated sequel that improves on the original. It does so by slimming down a bulky plot and accentuating the lively cartoon madness with Looney Tunes-style flair. The directors, Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud, and the screenwriters, Ken Daurio and Cinco Paul, have crafted a winning formula that enfolds snappy one-liners and inventive visual gags into a speedy, buoyant, inspired entertainment. The minions are favorites around here. My son hasn't quite gotten hooked on them yet, but when they pop on the TV, he loves to watch their antics. The adults- my wife and I- also find the movies funny and enjoyable. If you enjoyed the original movie, you're almost certain to enjoy the follow-up film! Here's hoping their Minions Movie continues with the shenanigans by the banana-loving little pill-shaped creatures!

I watched Despicable Me many times before, but the sequel goes even further with the crazy & silly madness that I love watching multiple times over. Everytime I watch this sequel, I always LOL alot at almost every scene. Just a crazy & silly fun movie that I got for less than $5. I love this & the first movie, despicable me too, for loving it! I hope they make a Despicable Me 3(With more grumpy Gru + more!).

My husband and I absolutely loved watching this, we laughed so hard our cheeks hurt. We have no kids, but enjoy watching movies like these (including Ice Age series, Toy Story, ect) This series I bought both for my husband, he was surprised and happy, he could not wait to watch them both. We had already seen the first one, but he wanted to watch them both back to back. Overall, loved it!!

Purchased this movie for home after seeing it in the theater. The altered minions are a bit scary for some. This one has some very funny lines and for the most part is light hearted. We have already watched it a few times and enjoyed it each time. Hard to find good family friendly movies like this one. Would recommend the blue ray as the quality is well worth the couple extra dollars.
