I never played the first destiny, so this was a new exp for me. I have played it for 20 hours so far and will come back to it

I stopped playing this game a while ago. It was entertaining for a while, but it started getting a little stale since there was only one raid (at the time). I heard it's gotten better with updates and expansions, but since most of my friends stopped playing, it's kind of hard to want to actually go back. If you're a trophy hunter, you won't be able to platinum the game until the Trials of the Nine is finished being reworked. AFAIK, there is no expected date for when it'll come up again either.

Destiny 2 is another title in the Destiny franchise from developer Bungie, previously of Halo fame and Microsoft partnership, now under Activision's tentpole company. It's an interesting game in that it's execution belies the fact that although you think there is the promise of greatness, you're just running hither tither fighting more against the broken system and scummy, whiny players than you are a well balanced and rounded out game. It's inexpensive enough now to warrant a look, but it's no Halo, nor Diablo.

I absolutely love this game. The only downside is that it’s online only so you don’t have a single player campaign mode, but that seems to be the future of the industry.

It's essentially more of the same, but that's not a bad thing if you liked the first one. All new quests, strikes, raids, etc. Should be able to put 100 hours into it easily.

This game is just OK...It is basically Destiny 1.5. You can pretty well base your enjoyment level of this game based on how well you enjoyed the first Destiny because they are essentially the same game. If you are looking for an "epic storyline" you are going to be disappointed. The character in the trailers that was pretty funny (can't even remember his name) is barely even in the game. There isn't really much to say though other than it is basically a larger Destiny expansion with improved resolution on the PS4 Pro.

Got this for free with Spiderman. Single player is good and the graphics are great. If you can get this under $20 go for it.

It's fun, but it takes everything from destiny one and simply gives more of it. If you love 1 you'll like 2. If you got bored of 1 this will feel exactly the same.

It feels like with the new destiny they tried to do to much in to little time. It is a rehash of the old one but still fairly good

Fun story, but it definitely didn't have the legs that Destiny 1 did. Heard it's better with the expansions though.

This is a great expansion but it does require a lot of time investment, if looking for a game you can pick up for a little and come back too later, this isn’t it.

This game is pretty good, probably more like 4.5 stars. A lot like the first Destiny just like a lot of other reviews say, but all in all worth it for what I paid.

Never really got into this game but I like the rare weapons with elemental rounds other then that it's a normal shooter.

Just started this because I just played Destiny first game. I like it so far seems to fill in just the way it should. I am early into it but I give it a 9 so far.

Best game ever no matter what system you get it on. Games like this should be open worlds cross play to be compatible with all systems would make it way better.

Destiny 2 was all that I wanted in a sequel to Destiny and more. With all the QoL improvements, Destiny 2 is a much better game than Destiny ever was. It is a much more enjoyable experience and cuts some of the unnecessary bloat from the original game.

For the sale price I paid, it's a pretty good game, however it seems like they took all the best parts of the original Destiny and left them out which is a shame.

Yes, its eye candy but not much else. If you played Destiny one and found the story lacking...this is more of the same.

Just a reminder, you need surround sound to fully appreciated this game. Stereo headphones work great. Some missions / adventures stress jumping. Bungie has decided that warlocks can't jump for some reason, so you might want to play as something else.

I'm glad Destiny 2 and the franchise itself is around! Halo had shaped my video game career when it was out and this is definitely that game for me now. Reminds me of Halo but so so so much better. I love Destiny. Get this game if you're a fan of FPS.
