Eh, it feels like Destiny 1.5. I wouldn't recommend it.

destiny 1 was a lot better. This installment changed too much of what made the first one great. I wouldn't waste money on this. But if you must, if free for PS Plus members this month - September 2018.

Story is alright, but be warned to pay an extra few hundred dollars if you get into the multiplayer aspect of this game. That's putting it lightly. Only bought this because it was selling for ten dollars.

This is nothing more than destiny 1.5 if even that.

But you literally do the same thing over and over without any sense of accomplishment. The graphics and gameplay are top notch but the micro transactions and repetition ruined it for me.

Truly a big disappointment I expected way more from bungie You would think they would’ve applied what they learned from destiny 1 If this is their game plan to make a game terrible then “fix it” then wow just wow very dissatisfied

It’s fun the first time playing. The same as the first Destiny and then it’s all about DLC and micro transactions. Save your money don’t buy it unless you like doing the same thing every week

I brought this game when it cost only $6, but I still felt i got robbed. If you like grinding and farming game like diablo 3, try this. If you like legit shooter game, save your money

A lame cash grab of a game, countless dlc’s lock you out of monthly activities and they do not listen to the community. Do not buy this because you’ll spend 5x your initial investment for no reason if you want to keep playing.

I would never have actually bought this game, it was a free add on. Companies seem to forget that there's still a rather sizable part of the population that has spotty/slow/NO internet service....and still like to play games.

This game has so much potential but fails to deliver in the end. It's such a constant repetitive grind, especially in multiplayer as many of the modes you'd have to continually kill and shoot the same thing over and over just to be able to level up in order to participate in certain modes. I was not able to play in ANY of the modes with my friends as I was not the same level range as them which meant I would have to invest heavily into the game just to be able to play. Multiplayer objective aren't even all that fun for me to feel like doing it over again. The main story is also weak & uninspiring and it's not worth even going through it at all.

It's like the first game but with a number 2 in the title. I want a time machine to go back in TIME and slap myself and say NO!! BAD GAMER BAD. and I bought under $30 Stay away and don't buy destiny 3 I won't.

Honestly, I didn't see enough in this game that really separated it from its predecessor. Not to mention there is far too much expensive DLC for this game. I wouldn't buy this game again if I had it to do over again.

The story line is ok. Once that is done though. Its just a game to get stuff from side missions and the stuff you get doesn't ever really get you anywhere. Its very monotonous. No wonder its on sale super cheap everywhere

I thought they would have improved on their miss-steps from Destiny 1, IMO they didn't. It felt again like a game that will eventually be as good as Destiny 1 was in the later releases of expansions.

I enjoyed the original Destiny and was turned off by Destiny 2 when I learned nothing would transfer. That combined with the cash grab that is the new expansion leads me to recommend passing on this one.

Destiny 2 has some of the best shooting mechanics of any FPS; unfortunately the base game is worthless. If you really want to dive into this game get the Legendary or complete editions with the DLC.

I got this free with my NBA2k19 purchase. The game leaves you behind if you dont continually buy the DLC. There are just better games out there that require such a large time commitment to keep up.

All the progress of Destiny 1 was erased and major gameplay changes were made that set Destiny 2 back too far. Paying while you wait for Bungie to fix their game though? that was the last straw.
