Much improved but it has worse, less interesting guns and armor than the first. All my friends have stopped playing already. Events like iron banner suck now.

I didn't play the first Destiny much so I was thinking of just leaving this game alone but most of my friends bought the game so I was like why not it cant hurt. As soon as I started I immediately became hooked and I am really happy I bought it. The story mode feels shorter than the first but that is the only Con. Of course if you play Solo you may feel differently but if you have a group of buddies to play this you will enjoy hours of fun before you know it. Trust me ;)

The game does have a more casual twist to it over the original Destiny, but the community is rather vocal with Bungie and the game will only continue to improve with updates. Even with the base game there is plenty to do in the game to make a informed decision on whether you'd want to venture into the dlc.

Got this game for free when purchasing something else. The disc version is so outdated now that it's only good for a coaster or use its box for another game. If you can get it for free, go for it. Otherwise, don't bother.

I'm having so much fun playing this game. Bungie did a great job adding a lot of story content and the worlds are incredibly beautiful. The game feels a bit better than Destiny 1, controls are good, classes seem balanced, and the new weapons system is great!

Very strange game. Playing through felt like a bad essay. The story was nearly pointless. Very very short game. The coop play does not make it more fun. Pros: 1. great guns, melee combat is really fun. You can pretty much knife the whole group of enemies if you want. 2. Over and over, the game made my stomach drop when dropping far distances. It felt like I was on a roller coaster and uncharted is the only other video game that has done that. 3. Graphics are good... 4. Safe game for kids & teens and I think it would be great for a kid who is just starting on video games. Granted, this game feels like a bad coop Ratchet & Clank. 5. Having dogs rush me on nearly every mission was quite repetitive and almost ruined this game for me.... though this game is not the worst and not the best. Far Cry Primal is the worst game. Cons: 1. The video game Bloodborne is better because the coop system works better and the enemies are sometimes hard enough to require help, they add small details to the game, and most of the bosses are unique. 2. this game leaves a lot to be desired. It was obviously rushed and didn't have the loving details that some games like Bloodborne have It is unfortunate that the game has good graphics but such a poor plotline. 3. I'm not a veteran gamer but this game makes me question the taste of a lot of my friends... really don't understand the appeal when there are so many other games that make coop fantastic. I can't recommend bloodborne enough, especially for coop!! Get it!!

The graphics are nice. If you like first person shooting games then this is for you.

I played Destiny 1 for hundreds of hours with friends and had a great time. For the first few hours of this game, I thought they had fixed a lot of the problems from the first one, like the story and simplifying some of the weapons. But unfortunately, they went too far and this game just wasnt fun after the first few hours. Everyone in multiplayer used the same guns because only a few guns stood out as better. The campaign was good but short and after beating it, side missions really weren't worth playing. All of the extra activities were very repetitive and didnt result in anything but guns and weapons you already have. So after beating it and getting your character to a high level, there wasnt really anything to draw you in or make it fun to keep playing. The multiplayer was repetitive very quickly without enough game types to be interesting. Skip it.

Overall this is a great first person shooter. If you are a fan of the first destiny or even Halo this game is highly enjoyable. On the PS4 Pro it even has HDR which looks fantastic and plays real smooth. Got this game for free since I purchased another item during a BB promotion. The only part that would be considered "bad" with this game is offline is very boring - you really need to be online to enjoy this game.

I'm not much of a gamer, but this game is very addicting. Major improvements from the original destiny and campaign wasn't too short. But I was a little disappointed on how easy it is to get legendary and exotic items, that's what made the grind fun in Destiny's 1. Overall probably my favorite game of the year

Story was alright for first run down, but then you realized you have to play it again if you were to play your other characters which was tough and made me hate the story. Multiplayer is kinda weird by 4 vs 4 instead of 5 vs 5 from the first game. The competitive game types were fun but not much expanded on that. I hated that sniper rifle is treated as a heavy weapon item. It was pretty much unbalanced. I can't have unlimited items, no match party raids or nightfall. Playing this game in solo doesn't cut it to get a high level. The objects and where to go to made it easier for me rather than spending 3 hours looking for it. I was able to leveling up in the beginning was easier and I was receiving new gear/weapons in the beginning, but then after that it got repetitive.

This game is a lot better than the first one. Bungie did it right the second time.

Only 3 stars because this game does nothing special from the last one. Fun to play for about an hour but then nothing matters. Pretty graphics, though.

Everything that was good about destiny 1 has been removed. This is a stripped down DLC disguised as a new game. Graphics are good though.

My kids loved it... played online only but was a big change from fortnite cuz they play that religiously n i dnt get it with all the games they have???

Really good, just lacking in some areas such as the Raid and lack of raid content for some time.

It works Played it one time and added it int he collection. Hope this will last long.
