I played the alpha and beta of this game and had to have it at launch as well. I have several members of my family and friends playing and it is more fun in "fireteam" groups. Highly recommended.

This edition of Destiny was extremely difficult to find, and I was very happy to get it! It came with the first 2 DLC, a collector's Ghost, and other cool items.

The game itself is great but the Ghost Edition might be overpriced. Comes with a lot of stuff that I'm not really sure how useful it is unless you're a diehard destiny fan.

Love the packaging design here, all the little components that make up the box are great. The fold out map and "leatherbound" book are great too!

This was one of the best Collectors Editions I've purchased, everything is detailed and the Ghost Replica is awesome.

Great collectors pack that came with the ghost toy and the two DLC's. Buy it you you can still find it in stock.

If you are an avid gamer, and look forward to getting limited edition games...this is a must.

If you love Halo, you would love Destiny. Plain and simple

This is a required game for anyone serious about gaming.

Destiny is one of those games that I've been looking forward to the most in 2014. For most people, it was the most anticipated game for that year as well, especially since it was by Bungie (of Halo fame). Unfortunately the game has failed to live up to it's high expectations as the game is mired with repetitious gameplay, a fragmented if not lousy story, and lacking of content. However the game is oddly addicting, this is attributed to the social aspect of the game, especially "raid" mode where people are required to work together to complete, it rewards you with rare loot and that in itself is extremely satisfying. The MP is also pretty fun, however there are balancing issues that can become annoying (hunters, handcannons, shotguns, and blink are OP 07/04/15). And it takes Bungie a long time for them to address them. Overall the game is fun, but not for everyone.

My personal rating for this game would be a 7.5/10. The Bad: 1) Worst story presentation I have experienced. I know that sounds awfully absolute but it is that non-existent. The introductory cut scene and ensuing in game cut scene where you are revived are literally the most informing in game story scenes that you will get. After that you are basically dragged from map to map, no dialog, no npc chatter of what ever the heck is going on. Nothing. 2) Very repetitive. Side missions are the exact same from location to location. Kill x amount of enemies. Deploy ghost at the location over there and scan it. 3)All single player levels are actually part of one big map per what ever planet you are on. After completing each level(objective) you are transported back to orbit. The next level then spawns you back at the Map spawn point to often back track or partially back track over and over again. 4) Enemies: AI is not very smart. Difficulty is often achieved through giving "Bosses" boringly high health with no game play mechanics to figure out other than avoid his minions swarms. 5) If Bungie's servers drop you while on the last Boss fight on a strike, guess what, you get to start all the way over. Even if you attempt to get back in 10 - 20 seconds. In single player if this happens you are just transported to the last checkpoint. Good: 1) Gear progression is pretty good though tilted toward pvp at the moment due to it's shorter playtime for the same post lvl 20 advancement. 2) All previous single player level and group strike levels can be replayed at higher difficulty levels. This will come in handy for grinders that don't want to play specific high level areas over and over just because it's the only area. 3) Consistent controls. Very little lag. Descent graphics. 4) Random Strike playlists for various level strike missions are available to mix up the pace when compared to going from individual planet to planet then choosing each Strike and the accompanying difficulty. Despite the glaring issues. This game is actually strangely fun more times than not. DO NOT buy it solely for single player though, you will be sorely disappointed, I would wager to say the in game story mostly is not there. This is more of a gear grind, one that for the most part starts after Lvl 18/20 which will be after the single player missions are complete. Oh the actual ghost replica is actually more sturdy than I'd expect. The lines do get repetitive immediately though. Had to cut my off within the first 5 - 10 minutes.

I was lucky enough to pre-order this bad boy and im loving it. I have my own personal ghost and game play is excellent!

This game really ended up being nothing like i expected. I had high hopes for it but the beta was really indicative of what the final game turned out to be. A watered down mmo with a poor story and a called in performance from Peter Dinklage. I think i had more fun with the collector's edition ghost replica than I did the game.

Small core game coupled with expensive DLC that negates past progress makes this a title to skip.
