This is a very engaging game. There is a lot time and patience required to really dig into Destiny. The Taken King is the gift that every procrastinating gamer has waited for. Now is the time to pick this incredible piece of work up. You and your friends (online ) will have hours apon hours of fun. Go find your Destiny.

I originally played this on PS4, switched over to XBOX and didn't want to give it a try since i previously played it and was not into it at all... The legendary edition came out and i said -- Why not... I was pushed to lvl 25 and that made a HUGE difference, the game is dull in the beginning levels, if you do buy the legendanry edition its highly recommended you take advantage of the lvl 25 jump. You will love the game if you do, there is so much to do, so much freedom, plenty of places to explore and always new gear to go after. The thrill here is how everyone is interconnected at all times, you never feel lonely, there is always another player close by helping you fight that big evil encounter, things escalate quickly and leads to massive battles where rewards are greater. Give the game a shot, even if you played it before. It has matured a lot since release and its a beautiful experience. Good luck Guardian!

This game is great even if you are starting from the beginning! It has hours upon hours of non-stop action and a weird story at first. But the expansion almost ties in all the gaps and the commentary is awesome! Nathan Fillion does an amazing job!

This is what Destiny SHOULD have been a year prior to this release. The game was originally lackluster, but here we have a developer who listened to fans and focused on fixes. The future of Destiny is bright. I quit Destiny after about a month and a half of the release of the original game. I reached maxed level on one character (30) and 29 on the other 2 classes. I found myself spending more time running in circles in patrol areas picking up pointless resources. There wasn't much to do outside 1 raid and a weekly nightfall. That is pretty much a joke compared to what the game is now. There is almost too much to do unless you can sink several hours per week! This is a good thing. So long as you aren't sinking 5 hours per day, it will take you quite a while to collect all the cool exotics and play end game content. King's Fall and taking down Oryx is the best experience Destiny has offered thus far. The game is still not perfect, but I feel Bungie will continue to patch and improve.

I was not a Destiny fan. I made fun of my cousin who would play Destiny because the videos and the clips just seemed too funky, like Call of Duty in outer space. I bought it to play with him and other cousins after finally giving in. It was slow and seemed endless at first, with a layout and points of travel/contact that really made it tedious. I wanted to give up. But I didn't because it provided a different kind of gameplay: fighting with other people in an open world is truly fascinating. The kind of fascinating that will keep the seat of your pants in a sofa for hours on end. The details are spectacular. Bungie did a great job. Taken King is ideal for those who wanted to play Destiny but didn't for some reason as it contains The Taken King expansion, THE ORIGINAL DESTINY GAME, and the two DLCs released afterwards. In summary, this game is best when played with others. As a standalone, it may turn some people off. If you've always wanted to try it, this is the way to go.

I traded destiny in after first few months of playing the original but one of my friends said they changed a lot of things recently with the taken king. After playing for a little bit I agree it is much more fun now. Not as much grinding which is what originally turned me off about it.

Anxiously awaited this release and purchased on the day it came out. Wonderful game with amazing gameplay. Love playing with friends on Xbox live. This addition to the game really brings the story and gameplay of Destiny to a whole new level.

Destiny is a great game. Not sure why there is all the hate. This Taken King package is a great deal. It has a lot of content. I'm not into the multiplayer in Destiny as much but there is a lot of single player content to have fun with.

I've been playing this on and off some release. It's really fun, very challenging with some of the final missions. Had a couple friends who used to play but stopped after the prison opened up. It become to difficult for them so they stopped. I still play now and then.

I was a day one Destiny player, played the heck out of it for 2 months straight and then became very frustrated and pretty bored so I sold it and said id never look back. Well after not being able to avoid the hype and keeping track of what they have been doing with destiny I figured gamers club unlocked price of 48 pretax for all 3 expansions and the game again was an ok price point to give it another go, and boy am I glad I did! The game is more addicting then it was at first, and though not as close to as big as the taken king, the other 2 expansions add some nice depth to the game. Add in some fine tuning, new weapons, quests, locations etc. and a rebalancing of the leveling system and you have a winner on your hands! Its a boat load of fun and I suggest highly you give it a try!

I bought this game as a gift for a friend, because the best content in the game is even better with people you know. The newest Destiny Expansion is worth trying just to see if you enjoy the game play. Largely a shared-world first person shooter, Destiny also employs puzzle solving in its Raids and offers a competitive multiplayer arena for those so inclined. If you like Halo for the gameplay, try Destiny. If you like Dragon Age for its backstory, try Destiny. If you like Skyrim for customizing your characters armor, try Destiny. Bottom line: Give it a shot, you just might get hooked like the rest of us.

If you missed out on the DLC then get your self this game that comes with 3DLC and orginal game for one low price this game is addicting when you have friends to do raids on the taken king!!!! The newest DLC and best.

I love the game, and the new expansion is great. I started out buying the standalone game to try it out, but then sold that and bought this version, as it was cheaper to do that than buy just the expansions.

Destiny has been out for 1.5 years and still runs strong. Millions of daily players still play a variety of modes in the game. The next expansion will be released on September 20th, 2016. It is already stirring up excitement in the Destiny community. The next expansion will only be available on PS4 and X1 however, so now is the time to upgrade. Playstation also has the rights to timed exclusives in game, for weapons and exclusive armor. I play on both systems currently, but most likely will be a PS4 only player when Destiny 2 hits the streets in 2017.

This is one of my favorite games to play all the options good for online play and game play ease of playing with friends awesome lots of fun good story line you can sense yourself in the game

I haven't gotten very far in this game, but so far am enjoying playing it. It was cool to be able to pick your character and customize him so much. So far the gameplay has been really smooth and the story is pretty good.

What makes this game worth rebuying is the extra content. The game is more solid then even. I would still out this game over even the brand new halo 5. It's just more fun, better gameplay, and better customization.

I have never enjoyed a first person shooter before Destiny. Destiny is different in that it is more sci-fi and you are not shooting humans. I prefer fantasy in my shooting games, as I feel guilty/bad/gross shooting humans or other animals. Destiny's music is beautiful and soothing and intense at key times. It sounds like a film score. The game has weekly updates and is always changing - even daily. Currently there is a special Halloween theme (which is optional) with masks and themed quests. By buying the Taken King you get EVERYTHING that has been released for Destiny so far, including: Destiny, the first 2 DLC packs and the new Taken King.

Game is awesome but if you already have any expansion packs this is not worth it. Now if you don't have any this is well worth it compare to buying expansion packs by there self.

great improvement on this game. loved the slight direction it took as far as the story and game play. its fun how much they changed and i still enjoy it to this day.
