Great game with story! I love playing with fellow guardians online when doing missions. Must have game!

Purchased the game for the Xbox One. Awesome game with tons of content and replay value, This mix of a massive multiplayer and first person shooter is only playable online so only buy if you want to play online, There is no offline option for this game.

I have played Destiny ever since the first release over a year ago and have spent many enjoyable hours playing alone, and with my friends on-line as a fireteam. This latest release (Year 2, The Taken King) adds much new game content for players that like First Person Shooters. Requires many hours of gameplay to advance to the level where it is most enjoyable, and MUST be played online with other players to advance to the highest levels.

They really improved this from the original, so you can make faster progress and it a lot more fun.

I wasn't sure if the expansion would be worth buying based on what Destiny has done in the past; however, I am glad I purchased this. The game developers did a great job on this. It is definitely worth the money. If you already purchased the previous expansions, they have an option to just buy The Taken King. I traded in my old game and with Gamer's Club it made it about the same price as just buying the new game.

Destiny is a great game with a lot to offer. The legendary edition comes with all the available add ons, which adds hours more story mission content, and a multitude of armor and weapons. The multiplayer is great, and is one of my favorites amongst popular first person shooters. The weekly missions and daily missions add more rewarding playtime to the game, and assembling raid team of your favorite online friends to complete the newest raids couldn't feel more rewarding.

Destiny was extremely fun when it was released and I have an embarrassing amount of time spent playing. Hoping online playing with friends was a blast. However there wasn't enough diversity between everyone's gear and loot making the game not as fun for me. I bought the taken king hoping to get back into destiny after hearing of serval improvements, however I still haven't opened it after purchasing it Black Friday. All in all its a fun game with gorgeous visuals.

I have a group of friends that has been bugging me to get this game for a while. After picking this up with all the expansions I can say its worth picking up at this point. Vanilla Destiny (the original game) is quite frankly not very good. It was a chore at times getting through it. The Taken King while not perfect, is a HUGE step up as far as storytelling goes and has a much more consistent and better explained narrative. Playing with friends has been fun. 8/10

I knew what I was going into with this, but grabbed it on sale and have had fun with friends. The gameplay itself is great. Everything feels smooth as you kill aliens. It's definitely a fun game to play with friends (if you don't have friends with the game you may have a hard time finding people to be social with). The story, as has been documented elsewhere, is somewhat lacking. I was surprised when I "beat" the original game because it just kind of ended.

Base game is honestly a carbon copy of fetch quests, letting ghost scan something and you fend off enemies till hes done, and a boss. DLC 1 & 2 aren't that much fun either other than the rads you can do with them. The taken King DLC honestly has more story than the base game. Character Development, A good ending, and with it brought several big changes that we love, like a redefined quest screen so its more like an RPG than a FPS. (BUY it on sale :3)

Lots of content and overall quality storyline. Huge improvement from last year.

My roommate recommended this game to me and I finally got around to buying it. I love Bungie games in general but I'm not really a fan of strictly online gameplay, and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of gameplay. Individual gameplay and multiplayer meld seamlessly, graphics are good, you can put an obscene amount of hours into it and not get tired of it.. what's not to like?

I absolutely LOVE this game! In my opinion it's a game best played online with friends since once you get past the first few missions and level up your chosen character then that's when the real fun begins! There is A LOT to do in this game already and with all the updates that Bungie adds to this game it always adds something new. It's a perfect balance between a RPG and a shooter!

I haven't stopped playing this game since I bought it. The story is a little hard to follow (it helps to download the phone app and read bits as you unlock them in game), but the game itself is fun and fast-paced. Easy to drop in and get to the action quickly. Also has very fun social play options, like public events, raids, and PVP arenas. Great game, but be ready for the damage it will do to your job, free time, and romantic life.

I have not played the first Destiny and so i was not sure what to expect with this game. It was easy to get the hang of the controls and the movement of the character. I like this game and i love how you can pick what missions you want to do if you have more than one or you can just go kill stuff if that is all you want to do. I would have loved to see a campaign setup without internet but i would not hold that against the game.

Destiny handles beautifully, and mixes the best worlds of call of duty and halo. The open world experience is unlike any other game. The Raids in this game require great teamwork and communication, and are the most fun I've ever had on Xbox. The storyline is awful, and missions get repetitive, but they are\ footnotes to a great game if you have people you can play with.
