Started Destiny on Xbox 360 version that was a 2nd copy my son had because he upgraded to the Taken King Updates after maxing out at level #32. I was able to use the left over / unused codes, took me about a week and I was leveled up to the max level 32. Was time to upgrade. With the Xbox One version I've noticed some major graphic detail / environment upgrades that is nice. It also carries over all your stats instead of starting over. I noticed there isn't as many XBox One players as the Xbox 360 version. No cross platform for this game, maybe in the future ? So far The Taken King has consumed most of my gaming time.

I really enjoy playing Destiny. I've only been playing it a little while, but it is usually the first game i grab out of my library. It has elements of both an RPG and shooter type game that I enjoy. It keeps you coming back for more, very fun to try to complete quests and move on to the next one. Not linear like some games, gives player choices as how and where to play in the game.

This game definitely beats COD which I feel is its main competitor. However, they've made change to it since its inception, and in my opinion they're for the worse. I won't get into what those changes are as only those that have played the game from its inception would know what I'm talking about. It serves its purpose to pass time by, but I find myself more often than not avoiding many of the multiplayer game types due to a medley of issues with them that are not beneficial to the way I play the game. Overall, not bad, but not great either.

I purchased Destiny after hearing of how The Taken King expansion elevated the game to new heights. I was pleasantly and thoroughly surprised that the hype was all true. It has been 8 months since I purchased TTK and I'm still playing as much as ever. I am feverishly awaiting the upcoming fall expansion. Hope to see you out there, Guardians.

Got it with the Xbox one and I'm glad I purchased it. The son loves it.

I hadn't played since the original destiny. This version includes the original and the 3 DLC, which really add so much more to the game. Its incredible leveling up and collecting loot!

I previosly owned the game when it came out in Fall of 14. Was more hooked in this game then ever before.Then I noticed in Jan of 15 that the games HUD was leaving image burn on my 2013 Panny VT60.I was heartbroken and immediately stopped playing.The good news is that three months of varied content and no Destiny cured my Plasma. Fast forward to late March 16. Bungie announces that HUD opacity controls will be added to the game in the April 16 update. I was skeptical. But purchased The taken King on sale at BB and gave it a whirl. I can tell you that the HUD Opacity controls on low do not leave ghosting images of the HUD on my Vt60. And I'm again hooked.

Bought this for one of the kids and he loves it. says way better than halo. jumped on the game for a few minutes and the gameplay is amazing graphics are great.

I love Destiny and the Taken King is a great DLC. Great story line with additional raids, campaigns, and loot. This will keep you playing Destiny.

If you didn't like the first release this might sway you. The dreadnough is too much fun running around with friends and the raids and new enemies are great

The fact that they are still charging money for this game is a travesty, why anyone would have fun doing the same ol same ol ill never know. I bought the game beat the campaign waiting for some semblance of a story which i got none of. Then the expansions came out and guess what still no story and this trash comes out still no coherent story. Why people defend this game ill never understand. Seems the only people that disagree with anyone are those who dont want to admit they wasted over $140. You are better off saving your money and buying fallout 4.

My boy and I have been playing Destiny since it came out. Since getting an Xbone we bought it again and it looks so much better than it did on PS3.

Taken King is much better than Vanilla Destiny, but be willing to grind. There's not a whole lot to do once you've tried everything once, it won't change.

Yes, there's grinding, but it's fun. Easy to level up and good variety with the different characters and sub classes.

Destiny itself was a huge disappointment with next to no storyline, and repetitive play. Graphics were nice but was just glorified multiplayer, less content than even a normal COD release. Then they release DLC with for $20 a pop!!! for just some extra levels! Now they want another $60 for another expansion!!??? Are you kidding me!? Are you actually going to have a storyline finally? Nope. If this is the future of games I may be leaving the hobby.

Maybe that's a bit on the corny side but you will have fun playing this game so enjoy!

absolutely glad I never bought a DLC and waited for this. its Destiny nothing else needs to be explained
