This game feels like you are part of a movie. The story is very well written. It's very engrossing because you are always wondering what is going to happen next. The graphics are amazing.

My wife and I loved this game! In fact, the mother of this game, Heavy Rain, is the whole reason I came to the Playstation side of gaming from being an XBox gamer. Not only is this game GORGEOUS, but it can and will suck you into its rabbit-hole of possibility. We play games more for the story, and less for the completion of every possibility. This game though, does have great replay value and brought us through for another play through. We were successful in come aspects and failed in others. I like how it did pull us in and left us wanting for more. The actors did a GREAT job and this is as close as you will get to an interactive film as it gets.

This is a largely story-driven game that focuses more on decision making than on action. Decisions you make and dialog options you choose throughout the narrative will have an impact on the final outcome. The voice acting and graphics are outstanding, and the choices you make as the different characters create a sense of urgency and tension that will keep you engaged, and will make you care about what happens next. But don't worry, if you don't get a very happy ending, you can always go back through the branching storylines and try for a better outcome. Lots of replay value here, and I hope they make a sequel.

Love this game! It's interactive and you really have to make you decisions fast. Love how you can go back and replay once you're done with one run through and get a different outcome.

I'VE PLAYED THROUGH TWICE AND IT WAS AWESOME. THE STORY, PLOT, GRAPHICS ARE FANTASTIC. WITH THE MANY CHOICES THIS GAME HAVE, IT HAVE GREAT REPLAY VALUE. ONE OF THE BEST GAMES IN A LONG TIME.

The game sets expectations high once the parts that are intended to be mundane and boring are over. It's got a fair share of pacing issues for how cinematic it wants to be. However, the concept and set up for the 3 main characters and all of the choices you can make are masterful. It's disappointing that you see the exact path you followed and could've followed. It goes further to show you its cracks and mechanics than Telltale games do - too far. After completing the game I felt compelled to go back and try something new. I figured I'd hate Connor but his story is the most powerful and earned. The other 2 are good though Marcus's story is very predictable and heavy handed. I'd recommend but there are few people who would go right back in for more.

I love this game! It keeps you in it with all the decisions you have to make. Very interesting, and you can play it several times differently than you played the first time around..

I put so many hours into this game thanks to the beautiful graphics, believable characters, and crazy story lines. This game was so well thought out from every aspect.

If you have played any the Quantic Dreams games before you got a pretty good idea what your in for and if you like the style or not. These games are not for everyone and more of an interactive cinematic experience than full on game. It's a style I thoroughly enjoy and wish more were available but I appreciate it's not for everyone. Detroit itself has a pretty good branching story with many many alternatives. Your choices really do completely change how the game plays out, this gives you reply opportunities and you can compare play throughs with friends to see what their characters done different and compare consequences. Why I gave it 4 and not 5 stars is as good as the game is it's an game of strong individual chapters that could be a little more stitched into a cohesive story. I don't think it was as strong as Beyond two souls but I had fun with it. It can also be platinumed in a couple play throughs (20-30hours) if that's your thing.

I was able to experience the beginning of this game and so far it is very well done. There are many different branching paths in the story, so many I'm unsure if I'll be able to see them all. I recommend this game if you want a story-heavy game to experience by yourself or with others helping to make the choices. I'm sorry for leaving this review as I haven't gotten to play this all the way yet, as it was a Christmas gift. However, the store was well maintained and there were no lines even on Black Friday. The reviews for this have been good and the price was excellent ($20). This was probably my most pleasant Black Friday experience.

Choices have meaning in this game. The 3 characters have roles that affect others in the sotry. The graphics, sounds, story, and acting are very good. Almost like an interactive movie.

This game is hit or miss. You're either a fan of this style of gameplay or not. For those of us who like it, it's a deeply polished, gorgeous game with huge replayability! Buy it!

Gripping, at times dark storylines between the characters. Every decision counts and consequences follow. Really enjoyable play. A game that’s hard to put down. Replay value high.

This game looks amazing, I played it on a regular PS4 so I can only imagine the quality on a Pro. The story was dope and the choices, very hard to make but it made it so interesting.

Believe the hype! This game looks fantastic abs has a great story. Some might find the gameplay a little on the slow side, but I still really enjoyed this game.

I played the demo when it came out many moons ago. I waited until this game went on sale before I bought it and I am glad I did. I feel if you pay more than 20$ for this game you are over paying. Graphics are great, but it is lacking in other departments.

Detroit: Become Human is a futuristic sci-fi game. It is exclusively story driven and is meant to be replayed as their many branching paths. This isn’t an action game so if you’re into fast paced shooters or free roamers this may not be for you. At the same time if crime dramas and interactive stories interest you, give this game a shot. It’s engaging, evokes emotions and philosophical as well. If you played Heavy Rain on ps3/PS4 you’ll love this. It takes what Cage did previously and elevates it. (Pro tip: Heavy Rain is free on PlayStation Plus for July. Try it first if you are on the fence. Heavy Rain is good, Detroit is better.)
