Great film that is prescient of our times now here in the States. Worth a watch at least once, it is hard to watch on repeat however so replay value is limited.

Great value at 4.99 for a Blu Ray DVD digital copy of Detroit. I would not rate this as high as "The Hurt Locker" or "Zero Dark Thirty", but still a very solid film.

This film was based on true story & aggravated me. It depicted blatant racism that existed during that time, & is very reminiscent of present day racism. It was appalling to see the negative & oppressive acts of the Police Department, with respect to several Blacks & some whites at a hotel in Detroit. I watched the movie until the end, but I never want to see this movie again. If you are one who doesnt get upset easily over racial matters, you might be able to stomach this film. If not, don't bother.

This movie give you an insight of how Detroit city was like on the late 60’s. Lots of tense moments in this film. This film needs to be watched.

Kathryn Bigelow translates her knack of white knuckle suspense and action very well into this harrowing tale of a time we wish had never happened.

They did a really great job with the setting of this movie in relations to the time at which they were aiming to reflect.

I actually saw this movie while flying. After I got home, I had to add it to my collection. Very interesting movie.

This is a very, very good historical drama of troubled times in an American inner city. Extremely entertaining and provocative!

Watch this movie awhile back and loved it so when I found out it was at this price I had to get it.

Great acting but very sad knowing this was a true story. Shows the ignorant world we still live in.
