I'm a fan of the Deus Ex franchise, but hated human revolution for their lopsided boss battles. The areas felt small and too linear. They improved that with mankind divided though. The areas are much larger now, lots of customization available. Graphically, it looks great and the gameplay mechanics are solid. Story is very interesting and really makes you think about the whole pro/anti aug world of deus ex. Lots of side missions to take a part of that feel different (some games have very pointless and repetitive side missions that don't offer anything to the overall game experience). There is pretty high replay value, because there's certain decisions that effect the games ending and it takes more than one play through to unlock all the upgrades (which are pretty cool). If you've never played a deus ex game before, no worries, they fill you in with a 10 min video (you don't have to watch it, but I do recommend it). Weapon upgrading is pretty good too, but you have limited inventory space, so choose wisely. Overall, if you like games like mass effect or fallout, you'll like this.

This was my first Deus Ex game and I was surprisingly impressed. They did a great job with immersing you into the world. Story is on the predictable side but the gameplay and choices they give you are fun and exciting. Highly recommend and you cant beat the under $15 price, terrific value.

Games like this now a days aren't worth the $60 they charge this game does a fairly good job of keeping you entertained. For example there are multiple endings that are based on what you do or don't do. I played the entire game twice through and had 2 different results. So of those side missions are only activated by roaming around talking or doing particular things. The news reporter at the end of the game will makes remakes based on those choices. Cons are few. One is once you unlock enough parts of your tech the game doesn't challenge you. Even on the harder difficulty the catch is you have to be mindful about which ones you choose. But by 70% of the way through the game if you also completed enough side mission you will almost be unstoppable. My first time completed i was 90% through all the upgrades I could purchase. The game is only really hard if you make it hard if your a stealthy and patience you could beat the game on any difficulty without being killed There are minor unpolished things like when you drag enemies into a corner or throw them so they can't be detected they have no smoothness to it they don't drag or drop like a body should things like that but over all its good being that you choose the outcome and how people talk to you is based on what you already know or you could go into a conversation and not get any clues because you didn't do x,y or z makes it fun

Mankind Divided fits right in the Deus Ex Universe

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is a fun game that expands on the franchise. If you've played the original Deus Ex or just Human Revolution you'll enjoy the direction Mankind Divided goes. You can get lost in the gorgeous world of Prague. Game play is fun and the story is enjoyable but its not always easy to pick between the option of stealth or going loud as I put it. I recommend this to anyone that's looking for a fun game with option to pick between different game playing styles.

After about 12 hours of gameplay, I can say that Deus Ex is a great mix of strategy, action, level-up style customization and story. There are times where the game gets a little too talky, but there are more than enough opportunities for gun battles and carnage.

I played through this game twice. It's a great game and i found a ton to do even after i played through it the first time. Gameplay is smooth and I found very little glitching throughout the game. Action is great and the story line keeps you glued to the TV the whole time. If you like action games this is for you.

I am not a hardcore fan of Deus Ex but I've played these games since they first came out. While it feels like a full mixture of a variety of games, it does give you the liberty to explore the cities within the game. The only thing that was frustrating about this game was the augmentations but at the same time that's what gives the game a rich experience. I know most games nowadays either want a better story line or graphics but I really think this game achieved a good balance between the two. The game does have its moments where it drags but it doesn't hurt the overall product.

Recommend it. Cost me $20 and is definitely worth it. Was listed as a regular priced title everywhere else. If you played the previous D Ex and enjoyed it chances are you will enjoy this one more. Or not.

This game is a direct sequel to the 2011 game Deus Ex Human Revolution. Adam Jensen is back and this time he's in Prague, dealing with the events that took place after Panchea happened in Human Revolution. Mankind Divided is a Deus Ex game, and on the current gen consoles the game is beautiful. I ran into some frame rate issues on the Xbox One, but other than that the game is great. My main gripe is with the "single use" microtransactions that the publisher decided to add, but I was able to finish the campaign without having to go to the market place for additional Praxis kits. The other common complaint people have is with the short length of the story, but I didn't consider that an issue. I love Mankind Divided, and I also went out and grabbed the additional expansions released in the season pass, "System Rift" (featuring Francis Pritchard) and "Criminal Past", both of these coming highly recommended from me.

Had a fun time playing Deus Ex:Human Revolution that I felt this was worth getting too and while the story is blander then the first game overall I got what I wanted so no real complaints to speak about. Being a big time fine of tech anime(Ghost In The Shell/Apple Seed/Vexille) has always made me interested in these types of games and genre and the atmosphere of the game has you feeling like your part of that universe. The gameplay is pretty simple once you learn and the upgrade skill tree is pretty easy to learn as well it's not as complicated as you'd first think. The graphics/effects/sound are incredible though the character model animations are good to alright in some of the cutscenes where you see the characters talk as half the time they look to be proper Gen8 console animated and other times lesser to a degree. Not to say that makes it a bad game but you do wonder why the developers seemed to be unbalanced on that area. Like with Splinter Cell:Black List you can go stealth or guns blazing depending on your strategy and though you're not penalized for your choice the game does seem to favor the more stealthy approach more then the others. Also the game promotes supposedly the choice/consequence mechanic where you make a choice at certain areas in the main story mission and depending on your choice you'll have a different effect for that choice though the story ending seems to hardly change regardless what you choose. If you like the first game you'll have fun with this game though again a little short on the story mode but fun nonetheless if you didn't care for the first game or are not a fan of first person style games then you'll probably want to pass this one over.

I purchased Mankind Divided because I was a huge fan of Human Revolution. The skill trees and abilities were amazing in that game, and the different paths you could take to reach your goal were incredible. One thing that was not so fun was how you could develop your character in a specific way—non-combat, say—and then have no way to adjust to a boss because there was only one way to make your way through them. Mankind Divided fixes this biggest issue, and stands out as a sequel worth owning. It's well-acted, beautiful and entertaining throughout. My only gripe is that it felt a bit short compared to the previous title.

As a long time fan of Deus Ex, everything about this title satisfies my desire for a new addition to the series. There is tons of action and options for being stealth or completely non-lethal. The story seems to be of good quality but it is somewhat complex and difficult to understand with a single play-through. Any fan of the series who enjoyed the title previous to this will more than likely love Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

This time around, I haven't been as engaged in the story as I was with Human Revolution. They have done a good job giving you more ways to go through a level, whether it be through stealth or action, and there is definitely more to do in this one. Lots of the side quests have you backtracking a bunch, which does get annoying, but it is nice to have a more fleshed out world. It's a good experience, but I'd say wait for a sale.

Let's see this is a very strategic game, it almost remind me of hybrid between the original metal gear solid and doom. The game is set in a distopian future where robotics is the essence of life. Interesting story line however poorly executed game? You maybe asking why? Well there is no tutorial to such a complex game. However, it is enjoyable and different and utilizes a whole different platform.

Adam Jensen is back! All the great story telling from the last game that plays out in a cyberpunk setting. Sleeker bigger and more polished Jensen resume his noir detective work in this dark and twisted beautiful world full of secrets and danger. But Jensen is equipped with the best cyberware and weapons to handle any threat. I took away a star because it was missing its original case.

Great game to spend lots of time, cool things things to do, great graphics, smooth play. Good story line the only thing I can say negative is if you die it takes a long time to come back so don't die. That can be frustrating especially if you are at a tough part of the game or just die a lot.

Mankind Divided has more of the gameplay that made the last game, Human Revolution, so surprisingly good. Unfortunately, also like Human Revolution, it suffers from a story that is less interesting than the setting around it. Prepare to be wowed by the world Deus Ex builds, only to then want so much more from it when the game concludes.

This game is basically the same as Human Revolution with improved graphics, skillsets, and a new story. I will say the story is a bit less interesting this time around but that's not to say it's bad in any way. There's still tons of sidequesting, perhaps more than ever and the world is still rife with places you want to explore and exploit to get stronger as you go along. Now hopefully they don't take 5 more years to make another like the rumors state....
