I've amased a small collection of true wireless IEMs and these are the best of the bunch, even beating out my beloved Sony WF1000XM3. Sound quality is expecially on point. Sub bass is punchy and solid. None of the bass bleeds into the mids, so sound is clear throughout the frequency range. Highs are clear and clean with no sibilance and a warm presence. Treble is clear and crisp without being tiring. The overall sound has a slight V-shape but does not color the music at all. What impresses me most is the resolution, especially when using APT-X to listen to high resolution music files. Distorted guitars have texture to them. I can make out the different tone that each guitarist uses rather than just hearing distorted guitars. Bowed string instruments have a distinct sound from the bow running over the strings. The raspy qualities in vocalists' voices stand out. The old cliche about hearing new things in music I've always listened to is very much true with these buds! Supposedly these will analyze your ears and the fit thousands of times a second and adjust sound. I tried playing around with it by purposely loosening the fit a little and it seems to compensate somewhat, but you will still want to be sure to get a good seal. Speaking of seals, these come with silicone tips. I tried out some of my foam eartips and found the sound quality suffered and the case wouldn't close. As far as silicone tips go, these are the most comfortable ones I've used. After about 4 hours of burn-in I found the treble loosened up a little, but not in a bad way. Of course, this all comes at a price. Good recordings sound absolutely amazing but poor recordings will sound really bad. Such is the life of an audiophile, better gear brings out every imperfection. Sound cancelation is solid and on par or better than the Sonys, which are often called "industry leading" when it comes to active noise cancellation. The app allows you to switch between normal cancelation (low and high levels) and a "plane" setting, which I assume highlights frequencies associated with travel. I've seen a couple reviews that call out a big change in sound quality if you turn off noise cancellation, but I don't hear much of a difference. Don't let that scare you off. Also included is a transparency mode to hear the world when you're listening to music. The app also shows levels for the earbuds and the case , and there is an equalizer kind of buried in the settings. Charge time is good (they say six hours, but I haven't had them out of the case that long) and the case can be recharged via USB-C or wireless charging. There's a screw on the bottom of the case and a part number for the battery under the lid, so it may be user-replacible. I didn't have the courage to try opening it. The case itself is very sturdy if a little large, but it's more on the flat side. Maybe a little big for pockets if you're into a tighter fit. I did make one phone call with these and the other party didn't comment on not being able to hear well, so I'll assume they sound fine. Sound on my end was excellent during the call. While these are on the higher end of the price range for IEMs, they are very reasonably priced for Devialet gear. look up their speakers for a small shock! Having listened to these and comparing them to others in the price range, these are hands down the best I've heard and are sharp competition for even my wired headphones.

These things sound different from other earphones. You can say that it is clearer, especially the low tones. The cons. The right earbud hurts my ear for some reason. Can only have them on for a couple of hours.

There are at least a few things the Devialet Gemini does very well in my opinion. For me, these are the things that are on the top of my list for what I’m looking for in a pair of wireless earbuds. Of note is the respectable sound quality these produce. Utilize the app and fine tune the sound to personal preferences such as Bass, Dynamic, Treble, Low-mid….. The app also allows Equalizer customization and adjustment of L/R Balance. Additional app settings allow one to turn off the Automatic Pause feature if an earbud is removed from one’s ear and select Double Press options of push-to-talk or next/previous. The Gemini earbuds are the best I’ve ever used when it comes to noise cancellation and I really like the ability to utilize the app to select noise cancellation settings of Cancellation (low, high or plane), Neutral or Transparency (low or high). With the touch of one app setting I can tell a noticeable difference in what ambient sound is heard from low/Transparency to virtually none/Cancellation. I really appreciate the functionality of these noise cancellation options when I’m at work and want to vary just how “tuned out” I am. I’ve used a similar style of earbud before owning these so I am used to the fit of this style. It is nice that four pairs of silicone ear tips are provided that include from XS/S/M/L. By default the earbuds come with size medium ear tips attached. The charging case is very nice quality and slides easily to access the earbuds. The battery status is clearly noted with a green, orange or red LED light. The built-in rechargeable batteries offer six hours of listening with noise cancellation. In addition, the carrying case holds an additional four full charges with up to 18 hours of power banked to wirelessly recharge the headphones. The charging case will easily fit into a pocket, but is a bit heavier than other brands I have used; likely due to battery capacity. Perhaps I’m easily pleased, but I felt the default settings produced a really nice, vivid sound. Add the options within the noise cancellation features in the app and I am quite pleased with the functionality of these wireless earbuds. Others have noted issues with the touch controls working consistently, but I found them to work fairly well once I got accustomed to using them. Aside from the packaging box taking a little effort to slide open I think the negatives are very few. The positives in terms of sound quality, battery life and excellent noise cancellation make the Devialet Gemini wireless earbuds a really nice option.

These are very expensive wireless earbuds. If you've ever sampled music coming from a Devialet speaker, you know to expect exceptional audio quality. On that front, these earbuds do not disappoint. I tested these buds against two midrange ones I have ($80-$100 range) and I could hear a noticeable difference in clarity - and this was ensuring all levels were at their defaults with no EQ set in my player or companion apps. These Devialet buds gave clear sound and good bass without the distortion or "over-bass" sound many buds do. I would consider the companion app to be a bit basic, however it does allow you to configure tapping controls, EQ, etc. What really stands out is the external noise cancellation and "transparency" - particularly the latter, which allows some external sounds to come in. The level of either settings isn't granular, but it definitely works. I played some music externally while listening to music through the Devialets and the noise cancellation did a good job of filtering most of it out while the Transparency function allowed me to hear more of it coming in. It's a useful feature if you're out and about and need to hear...traffic and/or alarms and sirens! The buds fit pretty well and aren't as big in the ears (at least in mine) as they look. Like most buds without ear hooks, I still had to be careful of them not plopping out with quick movement. The storage case is bigger than some competitors, but not too crazy. It also charges wirelessly, so that's a big plus! Overall, an exceptional product.

I never heard of Devialet before but I know them now. Their Gemini earbuds are outstanding! The fit is comfortable as they come with 4 sizes of eartips so you can pick the ones that fit your ears most comfortably. Once I paired with my phone and started playing tunes I became completely impressed by the amazing sound quality! The Gemini work great straight out of the box however to get the most out of them download the Devialet smartphone app which adds a lot of fine tuning capability. They have apps for Apple iOS and Android that you can download from their respective stores. The level of active noise cancelling is app adjustable so that you can dial in the level of ambient noise that you desire. In an office environment I like a little noise cancelling but I also like to hear a bit of ambient noise just so I have a feeling of what's going on around me. So, in the app I set for low noise cancelling and I get the best of both environments. There are preset equalizer settings but you can also custom tune for your taste. The typical graph representation with sliders makes adjustment super easy. It's also an expected feature that these earbuds have voice capability so you can use during phone calls on your paired smartphone but also able to have one touch voice control with either Siri or Google Assistant. They also have basic controls for volume, muting, pause and play, and next and last song. I especially like the auto pause feature that will pause songs when you pull the buds out of your ear. The case is a rechargable charging dock boasting 24 hours of autonomy allowing up to 6 hours of playtime on a single charge. While traveling and the earbuds get low on juice just toss them back into the case for a quick recharge and at the end of the day plug the case into a power source using the included USB-C cable or toss onto a Qi compatible wireless charging base (note that a charging brick is not included which seems to be the new trend which while I understand why but if you need one you need to purchase separately). So the elephant in the room is are they worth the $300. Well... I'd put these up against Sony and Bose high end wireless noise earbuds in quality so the value is there. By the way... the Devialet Phantom speakers look amazing and hopefully sound as good as they look but well over my audio equipment budget!!

I have a problem and that is an addiction to True Wireless Earphones, I have too many to mention and can’t keep from adding to my collection of headphones. The Devialet Gemini True Wireless earbuds come in a Qi charging case. The case itself is not the smallest but is a reasonable enough size to be able to keep in your pocket. The earbuds themselves are the perfect size in my opinion, others are somewhat bulky but these fit nicely in the ear and don’t stick out far at all, the fit with the included silicone tips is customizable with four different sizes included. While you can use a wireless Qi charger, the case also charges with a USB C Cable if you so desire. You get about 6 hours use from the Geminis depending upon your use of noise cancellation which will reduce your usage time. When the ear buds are placed back in the case to charge you get about 3x charging for a total of up to 24 Hrs possible usage. Once the case and buds are fully charged, the pairing process as described in the sparse manual should be easy, it took me a couple of try’s but I finally got them to pair with my iPhone and then I paired with my iPad as well with no issues, they are not multipoint however and can only be connected to one source at a time. There is a companion app available from both app stores and once connected to the app there is the ability to customize your EQ as well as strength of noise canceling and the ability to put into transparency mode to hear a conversation or sounds around you. Once in the app you can check the battery level of the charging case itself or each earbud. One of the most interesting features is Ear Active Matching (EAM) which reads your inner ear canal and tailors the sound to your individual ears. All of this doesn’t matter if they don’t sound good. I’m here to tell you the Devialet Geminis sound GREAT. Highs, mids and bass are all crystal clear and they have a good sound stage. Active Noise Cancellation is some of the best I’ve encountered, pretty much tied in my mind with the pinnacle at this time with the Sony XM4’s. When watching YouTube and other videos there is no sound lag whatsoever which can be annoying if present. Overall I’d say these are a definite keeper and will be a much used part of my ever growing collection and pretty much my go to pair for a while.

These earbuds come in a nice slim black case and can easily fit into your pocket or purse. The top of the case slides open instead of flipping open which I feel makes the case less likely to break and secure the earbuds from falling out of the case. Set up is the same as any other Bluetooth device. Turn Bluetooth on your phone, press the button on the front of the earbud case for 2 seconds until you see a white blinking light. Look at your phone and select Devialet Gemini and they will Bluetooth together. The medium size eartips that are already on the earbuds fit snugly in my ears and feel very comfortable and lightweight. They come in different sizes so you have the choice of which fits you best. While watching TV, I fell asleep with the earbuds in and they never fell out. I would say they are very secure when placed in your ears properly. Devialet Gemini App for these earbuds is a simple and easy to use app. The app shows your battery life, touch control set up, audio preferences and more. You have a choice with noise cancellation of how high or low you would like the setting. The sound from these earbuds is great. The bass is strong and the high and low pitch is crystal clear. The sound that comes out of these is pure quality sound. I would highly recommend these and feel the quality is right up there with the high price earbuds. The price may seem a bit high, but with the amazing sound coming out of these I feel they are well worth it. You get what you pay for.

These wireless earbuds are by far the best wireless ear buds I have ever used. From the charging case, to the smart phone app, and most importantly the performance. The first thing you will notice with these earbuds is the high quality feel of the case and earbuds. The case has a sliding top that is very smooth and it even charges wirelessly. You install the app and connect the headphones through the app. Very easy. The app then allows you to perform software updates, set the equalizer, and change a few settings. Nothing game changing but yet very essential. Now on to the performance, which is the main reason why I gave them 5 stars. The earbuds sound very, very good. The sound is very clear and crisp, and the bass is blissful and deep, just the way I like it. The noise cancellation works very well and the setting that allows ambient noise through is perfect. Other ANC earbuds I used that had an ambient setting did not sound quite right or had a fuzzy sound. One example of the definition on the earbuds is when I watch Facebook videos. One of the videos popped up with a radio host interviewing a celebrity guest. I heard every single detail of the audio, including the scratching of the mic if they got too close and even hearing when the interviewee swallowed. It just appeared to be the most precise audio I have heard with earbuds. The battery life is very good and I have not had any issues with them leaving me without my earbuds. I have not gotten to use them for an entire day, like while traveling, but they have held a long charge while I use them all day in my home. The case keeps them charged between uses all day. So far I do not have any negative comments or complaints about these earbuds yet. I have been thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend them to anyone who likes the best in modern tech.

Devialet - Gemini Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earbuds review I will start by saying I consider myself to be a bit of an audiophile. I have tried tons of earbuds, headphones, and speakers in my time always searching for that perfect sound! I have to say these buds are a contender for the best wireless earbuds I have tried to date! Right out of the box they are nothing fancy. Just your average plain looking earbuds. Mine came with a dead battery, so that was a little annoying. But after I charged them up I had them paired to my phone in a matter of seconds and I was off and running. There is also a companion app for these that you can download as well for your Android or Apple device. In that app you can adjust a bunch of settings like the EQ and noise cancellation levels as well as see the battery remaining in the earbuds. To start off I will get into the fit of these. I found that they fit pretty snugly in my ears. While you are just sitting or moving around or walking down the street I never felt like these were going to fall out of my ears. I did however try to use them while riding my bike, and there were times when they almost did fall out due to the road vibrations, so that is something to be aware of. If you plan to use these for working out, you might want to look elsewhere. They do come with a few different tips so that depending on your ear size you should be able to find a tip that will fit you perfectly. Now lets get to what everyone wants to know. How do these sound? To be honest, they sound amazing! They are by far the best sounding wireless earbuds I have ever used, and I have used a LOT! Every bit of the spectrum is well defined, the bass mids and treble. None of them are overpowering or "booming". Its just a very nice, well-balanced sound. I mostly listen to rock and metal but I played some old school hip-hop as well as some classical music through these as well and everything sounded amazing. If you are an audiophile, I think even you will be impressed at the sound you get out of these little earbuds. The noise cancellation is also phenomenal. I have tried many noise cancelling earbuds and I had yet to find any that blocked out even like 60% of background noise. These I would say can get up into the 90-95% range. Now to the caveats. As I mentioned before, these are not good for any kind of working oud like cycling or running. While walking around town I found them to be OK. The biggest issue I had with these is that if there is any wind and you have the noise canceling on. it almost seems to amplify the winds sound and makes it very distracting to listen to. You get a very high pitched blowing sound. I have another noise cancelling set of earbuds and they handle wind much better than these do and they are probably 1/6th the price. So apart from that one small caveat, these are quite amazing earbuds and they sound phenomenal! Just know what you plan to do with them before you buy them and know their limitations. They are a bit pricey, but worth it if you want the best sound in a wireless earbud!

Overall the setup of these earbuds, esp. with the app was easy enough to get paired with the app and then my phone. Placing them in the ear is comfortable once you adjust the ear tips to your ear and it is the first ear bud manufacture to say hey try different sizes based on ears. Never though of that and it helped finding a comfortable tip for each ear. The app is nice as you can adjust the not only the ANC and the transparency to the environment and your needs but the overall the EQ to get the soundstage you require that sounds great for you. Didn't have issues with the app and liked that it provided information around the battery charge of each ear bud. The app helps make these much more useful ear buds. Sound was great I was able to dial in a sound that suited me and adjust the ANC to get it to work based on if I needed to hear the surroundings or not and change it easily on the fly with the app. Overall these are a nice sounding set of ear bugs in a a great case with good battery life that sound great with options to make the ANC useful and allow you to dial in the ambient sounds so you can talk to people.

Pro: -Noise cancelling -Battery life Con: -Connection can be buggy -Charge indicator isn’t great Build The buds feel light and small. With the right tip they stayed snug in my ear. The touch controls are used to play/pause, fwd/back, and turn noise cancelling on/off. They seem a bit too sensitive to the touch. The charging case is bulky but does have a replaceable battery. It’s about the size of my palm and little over an inch thick. There’s only one indicator light on the case that lights from green to yellow to red. It only comes on briefly when you open the case, and doesn’t even light up while it’s charging. I have to press the button to see what color the light is. It comes with four size silicone tips. They feel thinner than other earbuds I have and felt like it would tear while I was switching them out. Setting up At first I had some difficulties. I left them charging for a day, but either it didn’t charge or died overnight. To set up the connection for the first time, I needed to download the app (and make an account) and go into settings to connect. The connection can be buggy at times. I did have some occasions when I had to disconnect and manually connect again due to stuttering audio or when I was using it with the PC, I couldn’t control the volume. Sound I’m no audiophile, so to me they sound good. The vocals are clear and instrumentals are distinct. It’s balanced and the bass has enough punch without being overpowering. These supposedly have a feature that adjusts the audio signal to your ears and adjust the pressure in your ears, but I don’t know if they actually do anything. The audio sounds good and I don’t feel any discomfort while wearing them so maybe they help? Noise Cancelling The ANC is quite good. It’s able to filter out most of the low frequency hums like fans and ac and other background noises and conversations by about half. It was able to dampen the sound of my lawn mower a lot. I find for most uses, keeping it at the low setting is better since it doesn’t have the hiss like the high setting has. Transparency mode is like I’m not wearing earbuds at all, and don’t add any boosting that causes hissing or distortions. Battery Life I got about 4-5 hours of continuous play time with noise cancelling on. The charging case gave me another 3 full charges.

I really like the Devialet Gemini Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earbuds. The sound is impeccable. This is near headphone-quality sound in an earbud. I was very impressed the first time I put them in my ears. In fact, I paused the music after a few seconds in amazement to pop in my prior favorite earbuds to compare. The Gemini was clearly richer, yet produced sound that was very true to the source. I've played with various settings in the app, and you can fine-tune the sound to your liking. I've tried many, many earbuds. These do a phenomenal job at replicating sound. There is no hint of artificiality or excess processing. It's just good, clean, rich sound. The app is relatively straight-forward. While the splash screen just gives very basic control of settings from ANC to transparency, there are lots of fine-tuning options in the menus. Speaking of noise canceling and transparency mode, I've seen some reviews that were critical of the sound in transparency mode. That was not my experience. Sound quality is high in both noise cancelling and transparency modes. However, it is much more of a mellow, almost acoustic, sound when set to neutral, which I would avoid because you lose too much of the depth and richness you get in the other modes. My only complaint about the noise cancelling modes are that they don't do as good a job as I would hope blocking noise. They reduce the intensity of outside sounds, but you can still hear most things. With the transparency mode, external sounds are much more clear and loud than with ANC on. Either way, the sound quality is good. Phone calls are good. The voice of the other caller is pretty natural, especially for an earbud. There is virtually no hint of typical tininess. Touch controls work well. It's easy to pause and play music or to cycle through the modes. It would be helpful if the buds announced which mode they are in, but all you get is a tone signifying you are changing from one setting to the other. It comes only with a few sizes of ear tip. I guess that's ok, but I have seen other earbuds come with more than double the size options you get here. A few more would be helpful, although I did find a pair that fit me just right. The bigger nit to pick, though, is ear fitment. The design of these is a fairly bulky, fixed block that fits inside your ear. If it fits, great. If not, too bad. Most ear buds of this physical style have an adjustable wing or similar fitment option. The Gemini have none of that. My right ear is, apparently, the right size and shape. My left ear is slightly off and feels "stretched" a bit by having the Gemini inserted. Still, though, if they fit, they are awesome. If the fit is really poor, you won't have any options to make them fit better. That's hard to know without trying them. Even with my left ear feeling just a bit tight, I prefer to wear these over my more adjustable ear buds because the sound quality is just that good. And if the fit is close (as with m left), the ear adjusts a little as you wear them. I suggest starting in half-hour increments and working your way up. However, I should note they have been very secure in my ears. My test after getting the right tips was to tilt my head sideways (horizontally) and shake around. Neither side fell out or even got loose. That's rare. To summarize, the Devialet Gemina earbuds sound amazing but could use a better fitment system. I'd still expect them to fit fine for 80% or more of people. For that reason, I don't think it's fair to deduct from the 5-star rating they earn for sound and overall use. This is the richest, cleanest sound I have heard in an earbud. I wish the fitment was a little more customizable, but they are still my all-time favorite earbuds. Note, I use them with a Google Pixel 4XL. I am confident they will be great with any Android but iPhone users may have a different experience due to how Apple handles BT connections.

Overall I am very pleased with the Devialet Gemini noise cancelling ear buds and definitely recommend them. The sound quality is very good with rich bass and clear treble. I tested the ear buds with both my Android phone and Windows PC and was very pleased with the sound, whether I was listening to music or watching a movie. Pairing with either device was a piece of cake and I experienced no drops or any connection issues at all. Using the Devialet Gemini app (not to be confused with another Devialet app that is available) was equally as easy to use. There's a few options to customize commands if you wish, though I didn't change anything. Battery levels for each ear bud are clearly displayed in the app as well. Where these ear buds truly shine is the active noise cancelling. These ear buds are best in class! I was truly shocked at the difference between the three modes (Cancellation, Neutral, Transparency). The Transparency mode allows you to hear some background noise, so when my wife calls to me I can still hear her. Turning on "Cancellation" almost completely blocks out all background noise. Again I was shocked at how well this worked. I stood in my utility room with the air conditioner/house fan running and with noise cancelling active this extra noise was completely blocked out. I am very impressed! However there are a couple of drawbacks. First, the clear ear gels that are included (different sizes of course) are way too slick and do not stick in the ear. They easily slip out. I had another pair of the typical black rubber ear gels around and put those on, and suddenly the Devialet Gemini ear buds would stay in my ear. Devialet needs to rethink the ear gels because they are too slippery. Second, battery life is perhaps typical for these kinds of ear buds, but I was expecting more from a $300 pair. The ear buds would probably last the stated 24hrs using the charging case, but they only lasted about 3.5 hours of medium volume use in the ear.

The packaging and bud case have a good quality feel about them. The buds are a bit more bulky than I expected but they did feel quite comfortable in the ears. I was so surprised with the sound quality of these buds! The music through these is so rich! Calls are clear on both sides, so I'm told by the ones I've asked while talking. The noise cancellation is really good! The transparency mode is like not wearing buds at all! I can't seem to get the controls quite right, but it's just as easy for me to play/pause/skip tracks from my phone. I also like the auto pause feature when I take a bud out. I do love these quite a lot! So glad I have them!

I really wanted to like the Devialet Gemini wireless earbuds. Knowing the history of Devialet and their bluetooth speakers, I was expecting to be impressed! Unfortunately, these headphones, in my opinion, are average at best. They have decent sound quality with decent bass response, but I can't say that it is a vast improvement over other, MUCH cheaper, wireless bluetooth headsets. These wireless earbuds are expensive! They come with a charging case to store them in which also doubles as the way you pair the headphones with your mobile device. This took several attempts and, at one point, even after the headset was paired to my android phone, I had to pair them again because they would not connect. The earbuds also have an app that can be downloaded to your mobile device. This lets you customize all the features of the headset, such as adjusting the EQ and turning on the active noise cancellation. If I had to say one positive about these earbuds, it would be about the noise cancellation! It blocks out a huge amount of background noise which is really nice when listening to music. I did actually enjoy that feature. There is also a feature that allows you to listen to audio while being aware of your surroundings. The headset passes outside sounds right through into the earbuds. This feature was nice as well. Trying to talk on the phone was disappointing. The call audio would randomly cut in and out from either one or both of the earpieces. Also, voices on the phone conversation audio sounded very mechanical/robotic. I have used other, much cheaper headsets that sounded a lot more natural. For a high end audio company I would expect every aspect of these earbuds to be top notch. Unfortunately, I feel like they leave a lot to be desired.

For the price of the Devialet Gemini Earbuds you would have the expectation of the perfect earbuds. These are close, really close, but they are somewhat let down by the "just okay" noise cancellation. Others have complained about the Devialet app also, but it met my needs. The case for the earbuds is HUGE, but it charges wirelessly and by USB-C, so that's a plus. The earbuds themselves are not small, but not overly huge. They fit my ears well and made a good seal (which is absolutely necessary for good bass and soundstage). Different size ear tips are included. The earbuds are a dark gunmetal grey with Devialet's little brand on the outside. The app and earbuds (through touch) switch between transparent (hear outside world), neutral (just in your ears) and cancellation (noise cancelling on). Transparency and neutral are pretty simplistic and work. The noise cancellation works okay, but for this price they should be top of the line. Where these things shine is in sound reproduction. I am not sure that I have a better set of in-ears, with outstanding depth and reproduction. Sounding tinny at first, I have found that over some breaking-in time (about a week) the sound has leveled out and become much warmer and inviting. For wireless earbuds these are my best so far. Not quite to the level of my best wired in-ears (which cost substantially more) these are a very close second! So, you must understand what you are getting for your money... An excellent pair of earbuds with outstanding sound, but just okay noise cancellation. How you spend your money should be directly related to what you are expecting from this product. Sound, a resounding yes. NC, not so much...

I really wanted to love these but ultimately ended up returning them. I purchased these after hearing rave reviews about the audio quality. I currently have AirPod Pros, but I struggle with them constantly falling out of my ears. After digging around the Internet - there aren't a ton of reviews for these, but I'm familiar with their Phantom line of speakers and figured if they can produce speakers with that kind of audio quality, then the headphones should sound amazing. What's making me want to return these is the volume. At full volume, they are significantly softer-sounding than my AirPods. This is after testing them both - AirPod in one ear and Gemini and the other and toggling different songs thru each. The headphones show they are on the latest firmware and there is a mention of this on the Devialet site which the solution from the support article is to send your device (that the headphones are connected to) in for repair? No other headphones I have (and I have two other pairs) experience this issue. The initial pairing was also very rough around the edges, coming from AirPods where you just lift the case and tap Connect. I went thru the full setup using the app and even though the app showed these were connected (the phone as well under Bluetooth), the audio kept coming out of my iPhone instead of the headphones. It wasn't until I pressed and held the button on the front of the case and it started flashing (from AirPods, I figured this meant they were in bluetooth discovery mode) - that I was able to see them under discoverable devices and pair them (yet the other instance showed connected the whole time which was really weird) and get audio thru the Geminis. Charging them was wonky as well. When I took them out of the box, I removed all the slips that cover the case and headphones to preserve the battery and left them charging over night and well into the next day. Went to use them and everything was dead. To be fair and honest, I had not downloaded the Gemini app yet but I figured they likely didn't ship fully charged so I'd charge them up first. It wasn't until I downloaded the Gemini app and pushed the case open that everything started charging. I will say the headphones charge amazingly fast! All-in-all I had a lot of hopes and expectations for these, but ultimately it's looking like the quality control just wasn't there and for the price, they need to be ready for prime time and no still in beta. I still think they make excellent speakers, but maybe this product was rushed to jump into an exploding product category.

For $300 I expected much more. The reason for the low rating is how horrible it is to even setup. Took 2 hours to pair them to my phone. Trying to reset them was a nightmare. Devialet needs to fix their app too. Updating it was a failure they ask to pair it again to the phone. It fails everytime at 99%. I want to update it because I have an issue when I place the earbuds back in the case, they won't disconnect. Overall my experience with the gemini has been horrible
